Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and Father’s Day is not too far behind. Are you stumped on what to gift that special person in your life?
I know I can never think of anything to gift my father on Father’s Day. My (grown) kids have the same issue when it comes to finding the perfect Father’s Day gifts for my husband. I’m pretty easy to buy for. I enjoy a plethora of things.
One gift idea that some might consider “practical” can also turn out to be a much appreciated gift – the gift of KURU footwear.
Yes, you read that correctly – shoes. Not just any shoes. Super comfortable, supportive and stylish shoes.
I’ll give you an example. For Mother’s Day why not gift that special woman in your life a pair of ATOM 2 sneakers.
A stylish, practical sneaker that keeps up with busy moms. The ATOM 2 is a trending silhouette that doesn’t compromise on support—perfect for running errands, staying active, or chasing after little ones.
I own a pair of these sneakers (they were sent to me to review) and they are SO COMFORTABLE.
When I first purchase sneakers I usually have to wear them around the home for a while to break them in. I didn’t have to do that with these sneakers. They were so comfortable the moment I slipped my foot into them.
I am on my feet pretty much the entire time I am at work. I’m always on the go-go-go. I need something that is not only comfortable, but also supportive.

These sneakers feature the brand’s KURUSOLE.
KURUSOLE dynamically flexes with each step to hug and protect your heels. The curved, heel-cupping design protects the body’s natural cushioning system—the heel pad—so your feet stay happy and healthy for all of life’s moments.
The sneakers also features KURUCLOUD+ which gives you better rebound and softer landings.
Their structured heels and traditional tongue make for easy entry—every time. I LOVE that I can tie them once and not need to tie them again. I just have to slip my foot into them and go. Sometimes I have my hands full when I leave for work. We keep our shoes outside our front door to keep dirt from getting inside. I appreciate that I don’t have to put things on the ground to get my shoes on. I just slip my feet into my ATOM 2 sneakers and go.
These are surprisingly lightweight too. With the weather getting hot and more humid, I love that these sneakers feel light on my feet.

I have neuropathy in both feet. These shoes are NOT for neuropathy sufferers, but I have noticed that they help a wee bit with my neuropathy too since my feet don’t feel “crushed” and “heavy” like they do in my other sneakers, which happen to be a pricey, well known brand sneaker.
Given the choice, my ATOM 2 sneakers are what I’ll be wearing all spring, summer and beyond.
I own the bright white/sand color sneakers. They are also available in other colors such as jet black/desert tan, mist blue/bright white and night blue/teal. They are also available in sizes 5-12, including half sizes.
KURU also has these same sneakers for men, perfect for Father’s Day, called ATOM Fusion.
Designed for dads who are always on the move. Whether it’s long days on their feet or regular gym sessions, the ATOM FUSION provides all-day comfort, support, and performance.

If you are in the market for sandals, check out the brand’s TREAD sandals for both men and women.
The go-to sandal for all-day comfort and breathability, ideal for springtime adventures, gardening, or relaxed weekend walks. A versatile and supportive option as the weather warms up.
I know that shoes might not be a typical gift idea, but don’t you want your gift to not only stand out, but also something your mother and/or father can enjoy and appreciate for many months to come.
Don’t forget to “gift yourself” a comfortable, supportive and stylish pair of sneakers and sandals too!
