I truly enjoy reviewing beauty products (among other things). I’m always amazed by the newest concoctions and the interesting ingredients used to create products these days. I especially love products that are made out of natural ingredients. If I can’t pronounce it (referring to ingredients), I don’t want it on or in my body.
One type of product that has always made me weary are oils.
My mom used to pop open a Vitamin E pills and squeeze out the contents to put on her face. I always thought that was odd, and couldn’t imagine putting something oily on my skin. I used to think it would make my skin breakout as well as looking and feeling greasy. But what did I know. I was a teen.
I wish I did what my mom was doing back then. Maybe my skin would look flawless these days.
I’m not against using oil products anymore. I realized that most absorb into your skin quickly enough (thankfully).
I was recently introduced to a product made from cranberry oil. I love cranberries. I never knew they would be good for your skin.
I was sent a cranberry oil based product from the brand La Canneberge. The product is named La Canneberge Cranberry Beauty Oil. That is easy enough to remember, and to the point.
Here is some additional information.
La Canneberge skincare line by Dr. Fidino, who is a pioneer in women’s wellness and has Formulated a beauty oil to restore, replenish, and revitalize the skin while locking in moisture, replenish essential vitamins A & E to heal from environmental damage, and revitalize the skin, giving it a flawless, dewy glow.

As I said earlier, I’m not as skeptical about oils as I was in the past, but I am cautious when it comes to applying any type of an oil product to my hair. More on that later.
The bottle might look small, but a little bit goes a long way. I have been using this product for a few weeks and it seems like I barely used it (based on what seems to be remaining in the bottle).
I love cranberries, and I was hoping it smelled a bit like them, but I honestly don’t smell anything. I guess that is good for people who are sensitive to scents.
I love that this product is made from Certified Organic Vaccinium Macrocarpon Seed Oil. It’s just a fancier way of saying organic cranberry seed oil. You can’t get anymore natural than that.
As far as absorption goes, this product absorbs fairly quickly, thankfully. I also do not experience any greasy look or feel to my skin after is absorbs. In fact, my skin feels soft to the touch.
I love that this product has Vitamin E in it. I have been using other product that was just Vitamin E. With this product you are also getting Vitamin A, which helps with wrinkles, acne and other skin conditions. Another words, you’re getting more “bang for your buck.” Instead of using multiple products, you can get all you need out of one.
This product also has Omegas. It’s funny because my eye doctor told me to take Omega/Fish Oil to not only help out my dry eyes, but my dry skin too.

This oil is very hydrating. My skin tends to get dry patches in the cold, winter months. This oil has helped to “fix” those dry patches.
My skin tone looks more even. I don’t have any red areas. I sometimes get red areas on my cheeks (my dermatologist suspects I might have a touch of Rosacea). I feel like this product helps to even out my skin tone.
As far as wrinkles go, I haven’t noticed a difference yet. It might just take more use to notice a difference in them (meaning weeks or months).
I use this morning and night as part of my daily routine. You can also add a drop or two in your favorite products too, including sunscreen. I like the idea of adding this to a sunscreen. I hate the way sunscreen feels on my face, perhaps mixing in some La Canneberge Cranberry Beauty Oil will make the sunscreen feel better on my skin.
I haven’t tried this on my hair yet. I’m a bit cautious about that. I worry using oils on my hair will make my hair look greasy or dirty. I know it could only benefit my hair, but I worry my course, thick hair might not absorb it as well as with someone with thinner, non-course hair.
Overall I like this product. The only downside is that it might be a little out of many people’s budget. However, a little bit does go a long way, so that should be taken into consideration.
You can find the La Canneberge Cranberry Beauty Oil (in two sizes) on the brand’s website, LaBanneberge.com. You can also purchase it on Amazon (Prime too!). You can also find them on social media.
