I don’t normally post ranting posts, but I felt I needed to warn others about a horrible company known as LaserShip. They are a shipping company – or so they claim to be. Whether or not they actually deliver packages to their end location is questionable.
I saved up to purchase an expensive LEGO set for my husband. He purchased one of their Creator sets for his birthday and loved it. I wanted to get him another set in the series. Sadly, it wasn’t cheap, but he’s worth every penny.
I purchased the set on May 14, 2022. On May 17, 2022 I received notice that the package shipped. They shipped using a (HORRIBLE) service called LaserShip.
On May 18, 2022, LaserShip showed it received the package.
It shows two entries that it was received in Groveport, Ohio on May 18, 2022.
The next day, May 19, 2022, it shows it in Dayton, New Jersey.
Today is May 26, 2022 – an entire week later. The package NEVER left Dayton, New Jersey. Not only that, Dayton is a 90 minute car ride from where I live. At best it would take another day to get from there to here – IF it ever left Dayton.
There is no real way of getting in touch with LaserShip, so I sent them a message on Twitter at their @LaserShipAssist page. I explained the situation. Their reply…
Hi Kimberly, 1LSCXVE000TUS75 Unfortunately, Lasership is unable to confirm control of your package at this time. Due to the unconfirmed status, please contact your Seller for further assistance. Thank you.
They want me to reach out to LEGO in regards to the package that THEY (LaserShip) lost? They made ZERO effort to even try and track the package down. Did they even bother to call the last known location? Nope! They did NOTHING but “pass the buck.”
I reached out to LEGO and they have been wonderful about it. They are going to send me a replacement, BUT, if they use LaserShip, chances are it will “disappear” again.
I come to find out that A LOT of people complain about LaserShip. One lady even shared a video with me of the LaserShip driver “delivering” her package, and his friend stealing it at the same time. STEALING! Legitimately STEALING it on camera! If you want to see that video, I am MORE than happy to share the link with you.
I went on the Better Business Bureau’s website to see what I could find, and sure enough, LaserShip has a 1.07 rating out of a possible 5. They have 3,012 complaints against them in the past three years. WOW!!! Horrible!
I am writing this to you all as a warning. If you are a business, big or small, PLEASE stick with reliable shipping services like FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL. Avoid LaserShip at all costs.
