Let Peaches + Frank help you keep up with your beauty routine

How are you holding up during the mandated quarantine?

I think being stuck at home is getting to a lot of people (myself included). At this point I would be THRILLED to go to the mall (I hate going to the mall), or even a hardware store, just to get out and do “normal” things.

I am also in dire need of a haircut. My son already tried to do his own hair (major fail) and I’m about two minutes from trying to trim my own hair. As for my daughter, she’s going one step further. She wants to color her hair AND cut it herself. I am trying to convince her not to, otherwise I’ll have to listen to her moan and groan about it for the next few weeks.

I haven’t been wearing make up during this time of quarantine. I’ve only put it on twice, and both times it was to go to the doctor’s office. I figured there is no point in putting on make up just to sit on my couch and watch movies.

I think my face is loving this non-make up time. Even though I don’t do up my face, I am still taking care of my skin. I make sure to wash and moisturize my face every morning and evening. My hair might be a total mess, but at least my skin is looking fairly decent.

You might be able to get out to a spa right now, but you can do things to take care of your skin. There are plenty of beauty products you can take advantage of right now that can make your skin look it’s very best when it’s finally time to return to normalcy.

One such beauty brand is Peaches + Frank. I was sent a bottle of one of their products to review.

Their products are great for both woman and men. It’s not often that I receive a beauty product that men can use as well. I really like that idea. Now to convince my husband he should have a beauty routine. Ha Ha.

Here is a little more information about the brand.

I was sent to review their Heavenly Rose Toner.

I must say that I really like the bottle. Not only is it pretty, it has a nice texture to it. It’s kind of “bumpy,” but in a good way.

I have to admit that I don’t have using a toner as part of my daily beauty routine. Usually I just wash my face, spray on some soothing rose water, add my face serum and then a moisturizer. A toner is not something that I really use, only because I’m not really 100% sure why I would need one.

As per Peaches + Frank;

A soothing toner infused with wild natural botanicals that balances pH levels, reduces inflammation and primes the skin to better relax and better absorb products. This toner is a powerhouse full of antioxidants that pumps tons of benefits into one bottle, including pollution defense.

I was looking forward to trying this out.

Toners I’ve used in the past seem to make my skin feel tight. I’m not sure if that is what they are suppose to do or not. I do not get that tightness with the Peaches + Frank toner.

I can’t comment much on the pollution defense, simply because I haven’t really left our home.

The product comes in a pump dispenser bottle. I’ve never had a toner come in a pump before. Usually I just tip the bottle on to a cotton pad.

To use, simply pump a few squirts onto a cotton ball or cotton pad. Then gently swipe it over your face.

The product is liquidy (like water) and has a very subtle floral scent to it. Thankfully it absorbs quickly. You also don’t need much. I can see this bottle lasting me for months, even using it daily.

It feels good on the skin, and I think it helps my make up (the few times I’ve worn it since I received the product) go on better.

Overall I like the product, and I have incorporated it into my daily morning and evening beauty routine. I like that I am giving my skin some important antioxidants that it needs, and I’ll do anything to make my skin look and feel better.

Peaches + Frank has other beauty products available, such as an exfoliating cleanser, serum, and an elixir. Their products are sold individually and as bundles. They also have interest free installment payments, which I thought was a nice thing to offer customers.
