The pandemic has really changed our lives in a big way. Never in a million years did I ever anticipate having to wear a mask whenever I stepped outside of our home. I thought that was only something that happened in futuristic horror movies.
I was furloughed from my job from March 13th until September. During that time I was out of work, I rarely left our home. I am considered “high risk,” therefore I didn’t want to take any chances with my health. My husband was also concerned about me every time I did leave our home (mostly for doctor’s appointments).
There are still plenty of people who don’t leave their homes much due to concerns about the pandemic. There are also those special loved ones (family and friends) that we can’t visit with due to COVID concerns.
It’s sad that children have to celebrate their birthdays with drive-bys instead of being surrounded by their friends at a party.
I recently learned about a wonderful company that can help show friends and family how much you care about them, and even bring a smile to their faces. It’s called SendAFriend.

Once on the website, visit the “Shop All” tab at the top of the website. There you will find all the available “friends” that you can send out. There are so many adorable “friends” to choose from including a unicorn, Panda, dog, cat, horse, turtle, fox, elephant and more.
Once you select which cute “friend” you would like to send to someone, you will have the option to create a special message which will be printed on a card that will arrive in the box with the plush toy.
There are also add on options you can include (only if you want to) like stickers or a blue rose.
SendAFriend will send the package to the special person in your life. They will receive a pretty blue box. Inside they will unwrap their “friend,” as well as the card that has been personalized by YOU.
I did have photos of the box that I received, but I cannot locate them at this time.
I was sent Kiwi the Cat to review. Oh my goodness! Not only is he (she?) super, duper adorable, but it’s so plush and soft too. I love it! I’m not exaggerating when I say it brings a smile to my face every time I look at it (Kiwi currently resides on top of the printer on my desk.
I love the precious plush cat so much, that I made two purchases from SendAFriend.
