The older I get, the more conscientious I am about the types of beauty products that I use. Growing up I never used a moisturizer, serum, or anything that would help my skin look and feel it’s best. I would just slap some make up on my face and head on out the door. I cringe when I think about it now. In hindsight I should have taken better care of my skin. Perhaps it would look much better than it does.
These days I make sure to use all the products that will ensure that my skin look and feel great. I might not be able to un-do the damage of all those years of neglect, but I can make sure that it take the best possible care of my skin moving forward. I always want to look and feel like an “all star.”

I received the daytime All Star set to review.
I’m not one to wear lipstick, so I haven’t tried that product. I gave it to my daughter, who wears lipstick, but only on occasion.
The mascara is really nice. It provides great coverage and is long lasting. It doesn’t flake off like some mascaras do. It really makes your lashes “pop.”
I can’t say that it made my lashes curl, but it did give them plenty of length and volume.
I was able to remove the mascara easily, which is a “bonus” if you ask me.
I love the primer. It does have little flecks of gold in it. The gold does not show up on your skin. It appears to disappear when you apply it.
This primer absorbs into my skin really well and leaves it feeling almost silky. It’s a fantastic foundation for your make up.
The fine line minimizer is my favorite product out of the entire set. Where has this been all my life? I’m hooked on it and I know I will purchase it once the bottle I have it empty.
Not too long ago I realized that there is a fairly large wrinkle above my right eyebrow. I would not consider it a “fine line” at all. I do have some fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes.
This product has made a huge difference. I can’t go a day without it.
I have used products over the years that claim to help with fine lines and wrinkles, but they fail to deliver. Not this product. I am extremely impressed by how well it works. Too bad I couldn’t dip my entire body into a bathtub full of this stuff. Ha Ha.
The wrinkle smoother is another great product from this set. Its lightweight and you can’t even feel it on your skin once absorbed. Just like with the fine line minimizer, I actually SEE a difference since I started using this product, and I fully intend on continuing to use it once the bottle I have is empty.
I don’t know if this product actually smooths out the wrinkles, or if plumps up your skin which gives the appearance of smoother skin. However it works, I love it!
I haven’t noticed that my dark circles are gone (or even disappearing) since using the Skintelligent Eye Moisturizer. My eyes still seem a bit puffy, but I also suffer from allergies. Even my eye doctor commented on how puffy my eyes looked when I went to see her back on May 14th. Chances are the reason why I haven’t seen just how well this product works is because of my allergies.
Aside from that, it’s a nice moisturizer. It’s lightweight and you don’t even feel it once absorbed. I keep it in the fridge because it has a metal tip to help glide it smoothly across your skin. The metal gets cold in the fridge, and it feels really nice when I glide it across my skin using the product.
Overall I think this is a fantastic set. Seeing as how it’s a boxed set, this would make a great gift for that special lady in your life.
