Beauty products are just like people – they come in all different “shapes and sizes.” Is there truly any beauty product that is created for all skin types?
It’s hard to know what to believe what to believe and who to believe when it comes to beauty products. This brand will tell you this, and that brand will tell you that. I’m sure you know what I mean.
Who would you believe more – a doctor or a random stranger – when it comes to what is best for your skin? I think most people would think that a doctor would know more.
If you take a doctor’s knowledge, and combine it with science, you have the basis of MDAiRE skincare.
Here is a brief synopsis of what the brand is all about.
MDAiRE™’s skincare technology is medical-grade skincare that contains a proprietary blend of innovative active ingredients with advanced delivery systems that target the key regenerative pathways in the skin.
Cruelty-Free Products made with clean ingredients. Free of parabens, fragrance, and phthalates. Products that tighten, smooth, minimize water loss, and allows skin cells to hold onto water.
All these products are developed and created by a board-certified dermatologist, dual fellowship, Dr. Stefani Kapple. Dr. Kapple is a self-claimed science nerd of dermatology. She is skin-deep in love with the science of skin, surgery, and cosmetic treatment. Her practice is based in Newport Beach, California. She has been practicing for over 15 years.
MDAiRE products were literally developed by a doctor, and backed by research driven science.
If you are interested in learning more about the science behind these skincare products, you can read more about it on the brand’s website, or simply visit this link – The Science.
MDAiRE has products that address skincare concerns, as well as the ever-so-important products to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun (Colorescience Sun Protection).
I was sent a couple of products from the brand’s skincare line. I received to review the brand’s Correct and Protect Duo, which consists of the brand’s Vitamin C-FK Brightening Complex and RXR Retinol Anti-Aging Serum.
I wish I had known about the benefits of Vitamin C on your skin decades ago. I can only imagine who beautiful my skin would have looked by now. That’s okay, I can still benefit from utilizing a Vitamin C product now.
Vitamin C is brightening, hydrating, helps promote collagen, products against sun damage, and other fabulous benefits.
According to MDAiRE;
Our Vitamin C-FK Brightening Complex has L ascorbic acid- the most powerful form of Vitamin C in terms of anti-aging and skin health. Our proprietary blend of 4 forms of Vitamin C protects the skin by binding reactive oxygen species caused by UV radiation.
I have been using this product for a few weeks. Although I haven’t noticed any difference when it comes to the circles under my eyes, or uneven skin tone, I do think my skin looks brighter and more “alive.” Normally my skin tends to look dull and drab – sort of washed out. I think that this Vitamin C complex is making my skin look more alive and dare I say a bit youthful.
I love it when people ask me my age, and they can’t believe it because they say I don’t look my age at all. That is a great feeling.
I’m NOT saying this product is the “fountain of youth.” I WISH! What I mean is that my skin just looks healthier.
It could also be due to using both products daily.
As for the RXR Retinol Anti-Aging Serum, the brand has this to say.
Our RXR Retinol Anti-Aging Serum induces healthy replacement of any damaged collagen and elastin fibers which will tighten and smooth the texture of your skin. Regular use of our Vitamin C and Retinol products will help protect your skin against damage while correcting any damage already present.
It could be that my skin looks brighter and healthier could be because I have been using both of these products daily.
Just like with Vitamin C, I wish I had known about serums years ago. Serums tend to be packed with ingredients that your skin needs.
As I mentioned already, I haven’t noticed anything in regards to the dark circles under my eyes, or my uneven skin tone, but there are some “splotches” on my face that seem to have improved a bit, especially on the top of my cheeks, above where my cheekbones are.
I’m not sure how well these product protect against sun damage, only because I haven’t been out in the sun in what seems like a lifetime, due to the cold weather. Even in the Spring and Summer, I am not one to go out in the sun. I run and hide from the sun (which is why I look so pale). Plus I never go out in the sun without sunscreen. So I cannot comment on that aspect, however, it does feel good knowing that I am providing my skin that extra layer of protection just in case something happens and I find myself in the sun with (or without) sunscreen.
Both products go on to my skin well with no reactions (I have sensitive skin). Sometimes retinol products aggravate my skin, but that has not been the case with this product (thankfully I’ve never had an issue with Vitamin C products). They absorb fairly quickly too.
I apply the retinol serum at night before going to bed, and I apply the Vitamin C product in the AM and PM.
I’m not the only one who appreciates these products. They currently have 4.8 out of 5 stars on their website.
