The sequel to the 2019 hit film, Ready or Not, appropriately titled Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, is now available on digital platforms including Fandango at Home, Movies Anywhere, Apple TV and Amazon Prime. The film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on June 16, 2026.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come stars Samara Weaving, who is returning to her role as Grace. In addition the film stars Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Geller, Elijah Wood and David Cronenber.
The story starts off at the same point the original film ended. Grace barely survives and is still wearing her blood soaked wedding dress when she is finally rescued.
Not knowing the whole situation, Grace is being seen as a murderer and an arsonist. As she’s being interrogated handcuffed to a hospital bed her “in case of an emergency” contact, Faith (played by Newton) arrives. Grace and Faith had a falling out many years ago and the reunion doesn’t exactly go that well.
Grace barely has the chance to to recover from any of her wounds when she is thrusted back into the nightmare once again. This time the stakes have moved beyond the Le Domas estate, and now Faith is involved as well.
Grace and Faith soon find themselves hunted by not one but four rival wealthy families who are all competing for the “High Seat of the Council,” a position of ultimate global power. However, if Grace can survive the night until the crack of dawn, she will be the one to claim seat herself, and the rival families will lose all chance of global power.

Now the sisters must put their past behind them and work together to navigate a lethal, high-tech game of hide-and-seek that makes Grace’s wedding night look like a trip to an amusement park.
Who will survive the night? To find out, check out Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. Look for it where ever you rent or purchase films.
If you thought the first film was bonkers, you haven’t seen anything yet. Ready or Not 2: Here I come doesn’t have any “down time” for the most part. It’s non-stop action from start to finish. Maybe when Grace and Faith hash out their differences, but other than that it’s a non-stop game of “cat and mouse.”
You don’t necessarily need to have seen the first film, but it would help so you know a bit of the backstory. My husband didn’t see the first film so he was very confused until I explained to him what Grace went through mere days earlier in the original film.
The acting is excellent. Wearing seamlessly resumes her role of Grace, and I feel like Newton was a great choice to play Faith because she looks like she could be Grace’s sister, and because this movie is “freaky” and she stared in the film Freaky. Ha Ha. It seems like both women are best in these horror/comedy type roles.
The other characters in this film are the kind you love to hate. Geller plays the snooty Ursula (I was getting Cruel Intentions vibes) and actor Shawn Hatosy, who plays Ursual’s brother Titus, is the type of character that you can’t wait to see his demise.

Elijah Wood played the lawyer (I can’t remember his actual name). There was always something about his character that made you wonder if he could be trusted, or if he’s just as off his rocker as the other players in this death game.
There is a lot of violence and blood in this film, so if things like that bother you, then you might want to skip this one. They film makers must have gone though buckets upon buckets of blood to make this film. Poor Wearing spends pretty much 90% of the film soaked in blood.
There is some humor in this film as it was in the original. There is a scene in a reception hall where Wearing and another character get into a fight even though both can’t see due to pepper spray.
The soundtrack is pretty interesting too. It features songs you wouldn’t expect in such a film.
If you’re looking for a film that balances genuine scares, humor and total absurdity, you’ll want to check out the film.
The film has a run time of 108 minutes and is rated “R” for violence, language, drugs use and a lot of blood.
