How was your Halloween this year? Do you still find yourself with dozens (if not more) pieces of candy? Are your kids still pumped up on sugar?
I picked up a lot of candy for the trick-or-treaters this year and we had only 10 kids! Well, actually 11. Our neighbor brought her daughter up to show us her costume before they left for a party. We always give her special candy (full size).
Now my family is stuck with a lot of candy. I’m sure most of it will eventually be eaten, but some I’ll simply have to toss out.
Now that the “season of candy” is over it’s time to get your kids back on to healthy treats like fresh fruits and vegetables. After downing handfuls of candy corn and chocolate, convincing your child to pick up an apple instead might be a bit of a challenge.
One way to get your child (and the rest of the family) back on to healthier for you snacking and treats would be to pick up some Crispy Fruit Snacks from Crispy Green. They are freeze dried fruits and nothing but 100% pure fruit.
Kids love to munch on these delectable and satisfying treats – and so do moms and dads! With seven great flavors to choose from in convenient snack-size pouches, it’s a snack you can take anywhere.
The flavors include;
- Apple
- Tangerine
- Mango
- Asian Pear
- Cantaloupe
- Pineapple
- Banana
Each flavor is available in individual packages and are the ideal “on-the-go” snack. Even though they are made with fresh fruit they do not need to be kept refrigerated. They are great for tossing into your child’s lunch box (or your lunch box), keeping some in your desk at work, your gym bag to enjoy after a work out and even in your car’s glove compartment to ward off any hunger feelings you have on your way home from work (and so you don’t stop by a fast food restaurant to get a quick bite to eat).

My family and I love Apple. That is our favorite flavor. Each of us has preferences when it comes to the other flavors. I personally like all the flavors except Mango (I’m not a fan of Mango to begin with). Cantaloupe had to grow on me. I wasn’t keen on it at first but then I started to like it.
My husband took a couple of packages for his car. He works across the river and with winter coming he likes to be prepared just in case he gets stuck or stuck in traffic. The Crispy Fruit Snacks are something he could eat if he gets hungry.

I would totally buy these. Non GMO, gf, and only 55 or less calories per serving. I was interested in the fiber content and also if the nutrition *such as vitamin C is intact after freeze drying. I hit your link and went on their site…says the nutritional value is the same as the fresh fruit. Nothing on fiber I can find though.
THere is a $1 coupon on the site, to use on 3 single serves. When I went in the WHere to buy, I didnt recognize any of the stores in Wisconsin, but bet they will go online? Seems like something Target would probably sell…they have lots of these types of products.
thanks!
