Coming to select theaters, digital and On Demand tomorrow, February 21, 2025, is the horror/drama film, Everyone is Going to Die.
The film stars Jamie Winstone, Brad Moore, Chiara D’Anna, and Gledisa Arthur.
Everyone is Going to Die is released by Saban Films. It was written and directed by Craig Tuohy.
I’m not sure if this is so much a horror film as it is a drama, however, some people might find the creepy masks and the thought of a home invasion terrifying.
Daniel (Brad Moore) gets a visit from his daughter, Imogen (Gledisa Arthur). Imogen begrudgingly has to spend the weekend with her father and celebrate her birthday with him. They do not have the best relationship.
While alone with his daughter in Daniel’s remote home, they discover a stranger in their yard wearing a unsettling mask.
While they are focused on the stranger, their home is invaded by another masked woman with a gun.
Soon Daniel and Imogen are in a fight for their lives from two strange women (Jamie Winstone and Chiara D’Anna) with unknown motives.
Are they there looking for money? Revenge? The thrill of the kill? To find out, check out the film Everyone is Going to Die. Look for it at a theater near you, on digital and/or On Demand.
If you are a fan of the Strangers movies, you’ll like this film. It’s sort of along the same lines of people being terrorized by masked individuals.
I will have to say the masks worn by the women (reminiscent of the masks for “comedy” and “tragedy”) are un-nerving. That is what attracted me to this film. I was curious to know more about the story behind the chilling masks.

The acting in this film was decent enough. Jamie Winstone’s character was especially disturbing and scary. She plays a psycho very well.
There is one character in this film whom I feel like wasn’t vital, and that was the character of Lydia, played by Tamsin Dean. I understand the need in the beginning, but when she re-appears towards the end of the film I felt like it wasn’t necessary, nor was what happened to her and why it was especially tragic.
The movie was filmed at home remote home. If you are living far from neighbors and you see a stranger person in a mask just standing in your yard, please don’t open the door and go outside to confront them. This is why we have 9-1-1. I just found it odd that the character of Daniel was made to commit such a dumb mistake.
It’s not until almost the end of the film that you learn the real reason why “Comedy” and “Tragedy” invaded Daniel’s home. I wasn’t expecting it at all. Kudos to the writer for keeping viewers guessing until almost the end of the film.
This film is rated “R” for disturbing content, sexual assault, sexual content/nudity and four language. Honestly, I felt like some of the sexual content was a bit too overboard and not necessarily needed for this film (especially the part in the bedroom when they discover Daniel’s box of toys).
It has a run time of 91 minutes.
The film was interesting and entertaining enough, but I doubt I would watch it again if I happened across it on a premium channel.
Below is the film’s trailer for your enjoyment.
