Coming to a theater near you on March 7, 2025, is the fun, animated film, Night of the Zoopocalypse.
The film stars the voice talents of David Harbor, Gabbi Kosmidis, Bryn McAuley and Scott Thompson, to name a few.
The film was inspired by a story from Clive Barker. Clive Barker is known for films such as Candyman, the Hellraiser series, and Nightbreed. It’s interesting to think that a children’s animated film could be inspired by him.
The film is being released by Viva Pictures. This movie studio has put out a lot of kid friendly films, one of which is The Amazing Maurice. I have been wanting to see that film. Be sure to check out their website and social media accounts (linked below) to learn more about their films.
Colepepper Zoo is your typical zoo with exotic animals and adorable critters in the petting zoo. The quaint zoo is thrown into total chaos one night when a piece of a meteor crashes into the barn and getting ingested by a cute, fluffy bunny.
Gracie, the zoo’s wolf, goes to investigate what landed. She soon comes face to face with a terrifying alien creature, who is none other than the once adorable little bunny.
In order to save the zoo, Gracie teams up with a not-so-friendly mountain lion named Dan, as well as a hodge podge of other zoo residents. Together they must fight off the alien zombie creatures in order to survive.
Will the Colepepper Zoo ever go back to normal, or will zombie creatures take over the planet? To find out, check out Night of the Zoopocalypse. Look for it at a theater near you on March 7, 2025.
This is a fun movie that is sure to bring lots of laughs to both children and adults alike. It’s has a great storyline, likable characters, and plenty of action.
I like that this film is not only a story about crazy alien creatures taking over a zoo, but also about friendship, especially being friends with the most unlikely individual. Even enemies can become friends, and those who are vastly different than you.
It’s also a film about teamwork. So aside from the silly action on the screen, there are also positive messages coming across.
It is rated PG, but I think that might be because some of the creatures might be a little scary for some very young children. They are not terrifying or anything like that, but might cause some kids to be a wee bit scared. Parents know their kids well enough. I would think school age kids and older would be perfectly okay with this film.
The animation is personally not my favorite style (some of the characters are a bit overboard with the way they look), but the silliness of most of the characters in how they look add to the humor.
This film has a run time of an hour and thirty one minutes.
