Do you believe in cryptids? Cryptids are mythical creatures that people say exist, but there is no concrete evidence that they do. Cryptids are creatures such as the Loch Ness Monster, the Rake, Unicorns, the Jersey Devil and the Chupacabra.
One of the most famous cryptid of all is Big Foot, otherwise known as the Sasquatch. People have claimed to have seen one for decades (or longer), but there is no concrete evidence to prove their existence such as a captured creature or it’s dead body.
I’m not sure if I believe in some cryptids, but I do think it’s possible that there is some kind of creature that lurks in the deep forests around the world. There is just so much compelling evidence available that makes me believe that SOMETHING is out there in the woods.
There was an episode I watched of Paranormal Caught on Camera (Travel Channel), where a couple of hikers spotted something walking down the mountain far off in the distance. It truly looked like a sasquatch! I was blown away by that footage. If it was faked, they did an excellent job.
If you go on YouTube you’ll find dozens of videos (if not more!) with “evidence” of a Big Foot/Sasquatch. How much of it is real, and how much is just good CGI (Computer Generated Image), no one really knows.
A new documentary has just been released called Sasquatch Among the Wildmen. It’s available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, YouTube, Xbox, Vudu, Fandango Now, and through local cable providers. The film explores the mystery that is the Sasquatch.
Throughout history, ape-like humanoids have appeared in myths and legends of cultures from around the world. The best known wildmen that people still say they see roaming the wilds of North America are known as Sasquatch or Bigfoot. Discover the history of relic hominids (The Russian Almasty, the Chinese The Yeren, the Himalaya’s The Yeti and more) from around the world.
If you enjoy documentaries (I do!) and you are fascinated by the “unknown” (like me!), then you will enjoy this film.
Sasquatch Among the Wildmen not only explores the history of the Sasquatch, but it also touches upon Sasquatch-like beings around the world.
I know Big Foot, Sasquatch and the Yeti were pretty much “one in the same,” but I didn’t know that there were creatures from other parts of the world with similar traits, including something in the Middle East. I only thought these creatures lived in the deep words of the Northeast in the U.S., Canada and parts of Russia. I didn’t know they were seen in other parts of the world.
I enjoyed hearing the history of the Sasquatch, including the other similar beasts. To be honest, I thought they only came about in the 70’s. That is when I used to watch Leonard Nimoy’s “In Search of.” I honestly didn’t think that the Sasquatch was a “thing” before then. I know, that sounds kind of silly, but honestly, that is what I thought. The same way I don’t know if the creature, the Rake, existed decades ago, or if it’s just something recent?
This documentary interviews people who truly believe that these creatures exist, including showing compelling evidence that would suggest that they ARE real. There is no way some of the video footage has been faked. If it was, give those people an Academy Award for film editing, because I am VERY impressed.
Whether you are interested in mythical beasts, such as the Sasquatch, or you want to learn more about them, then you need to watch this documentary. I’ve always been fascinated, and I consider myself a wee bit knowledgeable on the subject, but I learned so much more watching this documentary. Its really and “eye opener” and it has me craving for MORE information on the subject.
Even if you don’t believe such beast exist… your mind might be changed forever after watching this film.
Sasquatch Among the Wildmen is released by Uncork’d Entertainment. You can find them on Facebook.
Below is the film’s trailer for your enjoyment.
Do you believe in cryptids? Do you believe in the Sasquach/Big Foot? Have you had your own sighting of such a beast? Feel free to comment and share your thoughts. I always love to hear from readers.
