Right now I am in dire need of a touch up. My hair is a hodge podge of colors ranging from silver to white and from blond to red. I am a natural dirty blond with natural red highlights, however I color my hair light auburn in he Summer months (dark auburn in the Winter months). I have to color my hair because I refuse to give in the the silver and white hairs. I’m only 42. I’m too young to have hair like Paula Deen. LOL!
It has been at least 6 weeks since I touched up my hair the last time. I do it myself to save money. I would LOVE to let someone else deal with the mess but at $60-$75 or more a visit it is A LOT cheaper for me to do it myself. I can grab a box of Natural Instincts Hair Color for $8, do it myself and save a ton of money.
How about YOU? Do you color your own hair or do you splurge on the salon experience? If you are a do-it-yourself’er I thought you might be interested in this contest by Natural Instincts.
The Natural Instincts Hair Color Contest is a national search for Clairol’s next how-to video star. If you think you have what it takes, this is your opportunity!
How do you enter the contest?
For a chance in the spotlight, upload two photos to the contest page on Clairol.com – one before using Natural Instincts and the other after. Then write a brief statement (500 characters or less) about how you feel.
What can you win?
The woman who receives the most online votes will be flown to New York City with a friend to star in a Natural Instincts how-to video with celebrity colorist, Marie Robinson. The winner will also receive a total makeover and $1,000 spending money. NICE! I would LOVE to win this!
Entries are accepted now through August 30, 2010.
Natural Instincts is clinically proven to make hair feel healthier. Take the challenge today and in just 10-minutes you’ll see and feel the difference.
I know I’m inspired to head on out and pick up a box. Personally I know I feel A LOT better when I look more my age. The silver and white hairs make me look old, which in turn makes me feel old. Ugh! That is not how I want to feel.
If you enter the contest GOOD LUCK! I would LOVE to have a make over. I think I’ll enter too.
