It’s spooky season. Spooky decorations and fun costumes are a major part of the holiday, but candy seems to be what is most important to children.

When I was a young girl my mom used to take me to this one development near to where I lived. I would literally fill to the max two pillow cases with candy. That is A LOT of candy for one child. However, my father and grandfather always got first dibs on the candy. They would have me pour everything out on the kitchen table and they would go through it “looking for razor blades and unwrapped candies,” so they said. What they were doing was picking out their favorite candies. Honestly, I didn’t mind. I received Fortune the Cat Halloween Slipperz to review. The moment I took them out of the packaging I had to put them on my feet. I just got home from work, where I am always on my feet, so the idea of slipping my feet into something soft and plush sounded heavenly to me.

I’m a size 8.5, and these fit me fine. I’m not sure how well they would fit very large feet, but average foot sizes should be fine.

These are so nice and comfy. They keep my toes warm which I appreciate (I hate having cold toes).

The bottom of the Slipperz feature little “bumps” to prevent you from slipping.

Every time I look down at the kitty cat’s face it makes me smile.

These slippers are available in several Halloween styles including a monster, spider, ghost, pumpkin, vampire, bat, mummy and of course a black cat.

Halloween Pillows

I received two of these pillows to check out for myself. I received the pumpkin and the werewolf. Also available are the black cat, Frankenstein, Mrs. Frankenstein, bat, mummy, and a demon (a cute, non-scary one of course!).

These pillows are so soft and plush. They are cuddle like a plush toy, but your child/grandchild could sleep with them as a pillow. I don’t think the work well for an adult pillow since they don’t offer any support, but they are still great to place your head upon if you need to catch a catnap on the couch (at least that is what I do).

These pillows are also amusing Halloween decor. I keep these on my couch the same way I do throw pillows. They are the perfect addition to our home’s Halloween decor.

I wonder if the brand will have Christmas pillows? I’d love to add Christmas/Winter ones to our couch as throw pillows.

Starlight Buddies

The available designs including a unicorn, pumpkin, mummy, monster, dragon and a black cat. I was sent the black cat. I’m happy about that because we have a black cat named Maisy Boo (yes, that is her real name). I love black cats (all cats for that matter).

OH MY GOODNESS! This plush toy is divine! To say is soft does NOT do this plush toy justice. It’s beyond soft. It’s like hugging a cloud!

The cat is adorable, and I love it. But it’s the softness of this toy that I love the most.

My Halloween costume this year is a t-shirt that says “This is my Cat Lady costume.” I also have a headband that makes it look like there is a cat on my head. I am going to take this cat along with me as part of my costume.

SO CUTE!

Spooky Plushies

Moosh-Moosh Plushies are tubular shaped plush toys/pillows that are available in A LOT of designs (not just Halloween). The Halloween designs include an owl, ghost, vampire, bat, monster, cat, spider, mummy and pumpkin. Other series include dogs, sharks, cats, unicorns, cows, deer, cactus and more.

The first thin I saw these I thought the shape was a bit odd, but the shape makes them easy to hold and snuggle. They also act as a pillow, like a neck pillow (but they are not firm enough).

I can see why kids want to collect these. I wouldn’t mind having a bed full of soft and delightful plush toys.

I received to review the ghost, which I appreciate since I collect ghosts. Ever year since my husband and I got married, I get a ghost for Halloween. We’ve celebrated our 27th Anniversary a week ago, and this Moosh-Moosh plush ghost is my 27th one.

I also received the black cat. I plan on keeping this out year round since we have a black cat.
