Are you a pet parent? I sure am. I’m the “mom” to nine (yes, 9) cats and three mice. We used to have a dog years ago too before he moved on to cross the “rainbow bridge.”
As any pet parent knows, our pets mean the world to us. We shower them with love, care for their needs and genuinely want them to be happy. Often that means spoiling them with plenty of toys, treats and fun activities. If you visit my home you’ll find an array of cat centered items from beds, to scratch posts to toys galore. Somtimes it seems like they live here and we’re just the guests. Ha Ha.
I’m always on the look out for fun things for my cats to do. If there is something that can get them a bit of exercise too, even better. Our 23 pound ginger cat especially needs all the exercise he can get. We bought him an exercise wheel, but he only uses it as a bed. I’m guessing it’s not a fun enough activity for him.

I know my cats love bubbles. My kids would often blow bubbles out on our balcony and watch how far they would drift away. Our cats always loved to jump and catch the bubbles. Atomic Bubbles was kind enough to send me some samples of their products to try out with our feline family members. The brand sent me their catnip infused bubbles and their calming bubbles. In addition they also sent me their product sprays (more on that later).
When the bubbles arrived I opened up the catnip infused bubbles to make sure there was a wand inside. I’m not exaggerating that the moment I opened the bottle four of our cats immediately came over to me to see what I had. I guess they smelled the catnip the moment I opened the protective lid on the bubbles.
Seeing as how the cats were instantly interested in what I had I decided to blow a few to see what my cats would do. I don’t normally blow bubbles inside my home, but these bubbles are safe for indoors as well as outdoors.
My cats went crazy! But crazy in a good way. When the others saw what was going on they came running over to play with the bubbles too. Soon my living room was filled with cats and bubbles.
I eventually had to put the bubbles away only because the cats were getting a bit too crazy and bouncing off the furniture, almost knocking over the lamp. For the amount of cats we own letting them play with bubbles outside is better so they have more room to run around without crashing into furniture or each other.
The Kitty Love catnip infused bubbles get nine paws up from my cats, because cats don’t have thumbs. They even get excited when they see me go into the kitchen and grab the bottle from the cabinet.
I tried to take a video of them running around on outside with the bubbles but it was hard to blow the bubbles and film at the same time without it getting too shaky.

Honestly, I think these bubbles worked in a more calming way for about half of my cats, give or take. The older ones seemed more mellow whereas a few of the younger ones were still a bit crazy when it came to using the bubbles. For them it’s more so the excitement of having something to chase around aside from each other.
Atomic Bubbles also sent me their catnip infused spray and calming spray. They are both made with the same ingredients as the bubbles, but as a spray.
The calming spray is great to spray on cat bedding, cat trees and even cat carriers to help destress and calm cats. This spray is great if you have a cat that stressed out over trips to the vet, traveling, thunderstorms, fireworks or anything else that causes distress. I personally found the spray to work better for my cats when it came to the calming aspect (compared to the calming bubbles). I think this is because with the spray there is nothing for them to do other than go about their day normally where the bubbles are meant to be chased after. The calming spray has been getting a lot of use inside my home because I have a couple of cats that are either too excitable or they have a grudge against one of the other cats and tend to chase them around in a not-so-nice way.
The catnip infused spray has the opposite effect. You can spray that stuff on anything and your cat will go crazy for it. I spray it on the cat trees, bedding and toys. They go crazy for it. It’s a great way to keep them busy when you are putting away the groceries or folding the laundry (human activities cats seem to want to participate in).
Overall I am very pleased with the Kitty Love products from Atomic Bubbles.
