‘Tis the season for apple picking, pumpkin picking and choosing what Halloween costume to wear. Its also the that time of year where children tend to come home with colds more often because of being exposed to other children’s germs in a closed environment (classroom). The allergies seem to be in high gear right now too. My entire family has a bad case of the sniffles and sneezing. Its from allergies, not from colds. Thank goodness! There is nothing worst then taking care of a sick child when you are not feeling well either. There is no one to take care of Mommy when she’s sick.
My daughter seems to have it the worst with the allergies right now. My son sneezes every now and then and is a wee bit stuffy but not as bad as my daughter. My daughter is 13 1/2 and she won’t take medication unless its liquid. I have a harder time getting her to swallow a pill then I do when I try to give medication to the dog or the cats. I even went so far one time as to put a pill in a spoonful of ice cream and it still make her gag. She just can’t do it for some reason. I told her she’s going to have to try because at her age grape or cherry flavored liquid medicine is hard to come by. Thankfully my son can still take children’s medications, like PediaCare. Their products are good for children up to age 11. He just turned 11 this past weekend but I’m he can still take the medication until he officially turns 12.
Did you know that expanded their line of safe and effective medicines, with and without acetaminophen, for children and infants? The product line addresses most situations: cough, cold, allergy, flu, congestion, fever and pain. Their product offerings, in kid-pleasing flavors, match the formulations of other brands and are arriving in stores just in time for the cold/flu season. In particular, PediaCare Infant and Children’s fever and pain reducers are a great solution for moms wanting a branded acetaminophen alternative. This time of year you need to stock up on medications to handle every sniffle, cough and headache. Personally I always try to handle things homoeopathic remedy but there comes a time when you need to resort to over the counter medications.
Do you ever find that you need help to determine which medicine is best for your child based on his/her symptoms? Soon you will be able to download PediaCare’s free iPhone/iPad application. There you can check off your child’s symptoms and PediaCare will help you determine which product is best for your child based on the symptoms they need relief of. PediaCare is putting the key to your child’s comfort at the tip of your fingers. The application is not diagnostic but rather a shopping tool to help make a trip to the pharmacy a little bit easier. The application will launch on October 1st and is available for free on the PediaCare website.
PediaCare products retail for approximately $6.99 for a 4 oz. bottle, and are available at drugstores, supermarkets and retailers nationwide. For more information about PediaCare products, visit www.pediacare.com.

When my kids were sick, I’d let them spend the day in my bed watching tv. I make sure they have plenty of water to drink. Thanks for the review and giveaway!
