Product Review – NanoSteamer: Nano Ionic Facial Steamer

I will admit that I am not necessarily a “girly-girl.” I’ve always been a bit of a “Tom Boy.” Don’t get me wrong, I do love girly-girly things, but for the most part, I rather wear sneakers than heels, I don’t like carrying a bit purse, and I can easily go out and about without wearing make up.

I don’t like to wear make up. It’s more so that I NEED to wear make up. If I don’t, I look awful. My skin is blotchy and wrinkly, and my eyes look horrible because I have very light, sparse eyelashes. I look like a zombie without make up!

The reason why I don’t like to wear make up is because I don’t like how it feels on my skin. I don’t like how I can feel something weighing down my skin (with the exception of eye make up). I would much rather keep the feeling of a freshly cleaned face all day long. That is why on the weekends if we have no plans I don’t wear anything on my face accept moisturizer.

I love the feeling my face has when I step out of the shower. I can’t get that same feeling from washing my face with my hands and/or washcloth. And I’m not about to hop back in the shower after work just to wash my face.

Have you ever tried a steam cleaner for your face? I had one many, many years ago (about 20+ years ago). I don’t really remember much about it to be honest with you.

I was sent to review a NanoSteamer – a Nano Ionic Facial Steamer from the company, Pure Daily Care. This is actually a 3-in-1 product, so it serves more than one purpose. Since we live in a tiny condo, we don’t have much room for products we use occasionally. I like that this product is more than just a face steamer.

Use #1 – Nano Ionic Facial Steamer

According to Pure Daily;

The Pure Daily Care Nano Steamer is a new type of steamer that generates nano-ionic steam. NanoSteamer does this by combining a conventional heating element with a new ultra sonic vaporizer to produce nano steam with negatively charged ionic particles. Nano steam combined with ionic water particles are up to 10x more effective in penetrating skin.

I don’t know much about “ionic water particles” or “negatively charged ionic particles.” As long as a product works, and works well, that is all that matters to me.

Benefits of Nano Steaming include up to 10x improved blood circulation, Improves cell vitality and oxygen absorption through skin for a healthier younger looking complexion, significantly improves absorption of your beauty creams for increased effectiveness and promotes drainage of sinuses and airways for overall improved well being.

The facial steamer I remember using decades ago was a lot different than this one. This one is more sleek and compact, but don’t let that fool you. This one works so much better. I feel that the size of the opening where the steam comes out allows you to direct the steam where you need it the most. It does cover your whole face, but if you want to direct it to a specific area (for example, your forehead if you are experiencing breakouts), you can.

The steam feels so nice. I’ve used this in the AM (before applying moisturizer and make up) and in the PM (after taking off my make up). I don’t use it every day, but I do find myself using it several times per week. I enjoy how it makes my skin feel. My skin feels so “clean,” so much so that I hate having to put make up on after using it.

I feel that using this at night after I wash my face helps to remove any make up that regular face washing missed. I also think it helps my nightly products (moisturizer, serum…) to absorb into my skin better.

This is so easy to use too. Simply take it out of the box, add water, plug it in and you are ready to go (just make sure the dial in on the face steamer option). There is no complicated set up at all, which means you can use this any time you want. It’s also compact enough where it doesn’t take up much room in the bathroom closet (or under the sink).

Use #2 – Room Humidifier

This product is not just a facial steamer, it can also be used as room humidifier too.

Set up is the same way (add water). It can run for 30 minutes and the device is very quiet, so you don’t have to worry about it keeping a child awake.

I haven’t really had a need for a humidifier (my kids had one when they were little) so I haven’t used it as this option yet, but it’s good to know if I needed one that I don’t have to buy an extra product (and find space for it!). This product is all I need.

Use #3 – Towel Warmer

Oh yes! You heard that right. You can warm facial washcloths (small towels) in this. How luxurious!

My husband and son get warmed washcloths at the barber when they get their hair done. That always sounded so nice to me (my hairdresser doesn’t offer that). Now they can have the same experience at home – as can I – using this one device.

A nice, moisture, warm washcloth is just what I need after a stressful day at work. I find it very refreshing. It’s also nice to have when washing the make up off my face. I feel like the warmed washcloth helps to remove more dirt, make up and impurities from my face instead of using a wet washcloth from tap water.

This is certainly a great bonus feature of the NanoSteamer: Nano Ionic Facial Steamer.

The NanoSteamer: Nano Ionic Facial Steamer also comes with a five (5) piece, surgical grade stainless steel, facial instruments to help you to remove blackheads and blemishes.

I have one of these instruments that I’ve had since I was a teenager. I LOVE that this set comes with various sizes to help accommodate the various sized blackheads and blemishes.

As gross as these are to use, they work! That is why I have held on to the one I had for the past 40 years.
