I run an after school program in our local school district. I am responsible for many things – the children’s health and wellbeing, homework help, crafts, snacks, keeping parents informed about their child and about a million other things (or so it would seem). Let’s not forget about all the paperwork.
I enjoy doing fun things for the kids. I also like to make things “kid friendly” and appealing to children, all while keeping a professional look for the parents. Take for example our visitor and site inspector board. It’s filled with all the necessary papers that state and local government wants us to display for parents and others, but it also has adorable graphics of children on it. That way it’s professional and informative for parents, visitors and site inspectors, it’s also something fun to look at for the kids, especially considering that they look at it more than anyone else.
I love to make things look neat and organized too. You can see how I try and label the various bins in our closet, so I can tell where things belong, and where to find things.
I normally have to create things on my computer, print them out and adhere them. I would write a lot of the text myself (especially for “headers”), but sadly, my Carpal Tunnel won’t allow that. I can barely sign my name anymore. My handwriting is horrible!
If only there was something available to make things a bit easier for me..?
There is! It’s a recently published book called So. Many. Letter Stickers (yes, that is the actual title). It was created and published by Pipsticks®+Workman® (Publishing).
Pipsticks®+Workman® is the collaboration of Pipsticks, a subscription sticker club, and Workman Publishing. Made up of a bicoastal team of innovative creatives, the brand is dedicated to spreading the sticker love through books, stationery, and more!
This handy book contains a whopping 3,820 stickers in different designs/fonts and colors. All you need to do it peel them off and stick them to your project. That’s it! And with so many stickers, you’ll be using and enjoying this book for years to come.
I was sent a copy of this book to check out for myself. I wish I had it before I made my board for work (I made my board back in late August). I could have utilized these stickers for the board instead of having to type things up, print them out and trim them to fit where I wanted to put them on the board. That’s okay because I know I’ll be using these stickers for a variety of things from menus to labeling binders, and from projects with the kids to labeling things in the pantry. There are so many uses for these stickers.
I love the great variety of styles found in this book. There are fancy designs, and whimsical designs. Designs great for adults and designs great for kids. There are so many to choose from!
Say it, shout it—spell it! This delightful collection of stickers is devoted entirely to the alphabet and the joy of matching a font to every mood and occasion. These letter stickers are perfect for spelling everything from your name to your favorite song lyrics—on your planner, photo album, notes, invitations, and anything that needs a touch of whimsy!
Plus who doesn’t love stickers? LOL!
I dare not let my “work kids” have this book “unattended” because I KNOW they would use these stickers all over their personal stuff. That’s fine, but I want to make sure there are plenty of stickers left for me to use in ways I’d like to use them.
This handy book retails for $12.95 on the Workman website. You can also find the book at;
What would YOU create using these handy stickers? Feel free to comment and share your thoughts. I always love to hear from readers.
