If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you know my struggle with eczema isn’t just a “dry skin” issue, it’s a frequent battle. My eczema likes to hop around, making guest appearances on my neck, scalp, hands, and even my eyelids. Dealing with flared-up eyelids is particularly frustrating because the skin there is so delicate, and finding something that works without irritation is nearly impossible. Not only that, I do not want to apply a steroid cream to my eyelids.
I’ve recently been focusing on the idea of “inside-out” beauty. We spend so much money on topical creams, but what if the real fix starts in our gut and our bloodstream? That’s where the Codex Labs Antu® Skin Barrier Repair Supplement (ANTU Powder Sachets) comes in.
Codex Labs is a pioneering biotech skincare company that is redefining how we treat chronic skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Founded by Silicon Valley scientist Dr. Barbara Paldus, the brand moves away from “fluff” and focuses on rigorous, data-driven results.
What makes Codex Labs truly unique is its focus on the Skin-Gut-Brain-Microbiome axis. They believe that healthy skin is a reflection of internal health, which is why they develop “inside-out” systems—combining high-performance topical skincare with clinical-grade supplements. Every product is:
- Clinically Proven: They are one of the few brands that publish their full clinical trial data in “Efficacy Panels” on their packaging.
- Microbiome Friendly: Their patented PreservX™ system uses food-grade ingredients to preserve products without harming the delicate “good bacteria” on your skin.
- Sustainable & Ethical: All products are Vegan, Cruelty-Free (Leaping Bunny certified), and housed in sustainable, carbon-reducing packaging like sugarcane-based polyethylene.
By bridging the gap between traditional dermatology and herbal medicine, Codex Labs provides safe, effective solutions for the most sensitive skin types.

Codex Labs had sent me product previously, but they also sent me their Antu® Skin Barrier Repair Supplement to try out.
When you order a one-month supply, you receive two boxes filled with individual powder sachets. The instructions are straightforward: you need 1–2 packs per day.
I love the portability of these. They are incredibly easy to use. Simply tear open the sachets, pour into water, and stir. Whether I’m at home or heading out for the day, I can just toss a couple in my bag. No bulky pill bottles or messy measuring spoons required.
I want to be 100% transparent with you all: I wasn’t necessarily a fan of the taste. Now, let me clarify – it wasn’t “bad” or offensive. It’s just that I’ve never been a fan of sweet-tasting beverages. I prefer my drinks more on the plain side (like unsweetened ice tea). Even for a “non-sweet” person like me, it was perfectly manageable because the skin benefits far outweighed the few seconds of drinking it.
The science behind this product is that is focuses on the skin barrier. Eczema is essentially a “leaky” skin barrier that lets moisture out and irritants in. By using potent antioxidants and clinical-grade ingredients, this supplement works to strengthen that barrier from the inside out.
After consistent use, I noticed a nice difference. Aside from my hands (which are always dry anyway due to constant washing), the eczema on my eyelids has completely cleared up. Even that stubborn, itchy patch on the back of my neck – which usually drives me crazy – is gone. It feels like my skin finally has the internal tools it needs to defend itself.
Kids can use this product too. It’s a great way to help little ones who struggle with itchy skin, just be sure to read the dosing amount on the packaging or consult their pediatrician to ensure they are getting the right amount for their age and size.
