I would like to think that most people are taking into consideration how the things we do, the stuff we eat, and the products we use are having a substantial effect on our planet. No matter what you do, it has an impact in one way or another. Some things obviously are better than other. For example, making a compost for your biodegradable items, and repurposing the compost, such as in your garden, is better for our environment than tossing away a plastic water bottle or Styrofoam coffee cup.
We ALL need to be aware of our actions – big or small. Every tiny thing effects our planet in one way or another.
I will admit that I’m not 100% waste free. I make a conscious effort to be aware of the product I use, and I choose products that are not only better for me and my family, but also better for the planet.
There is a company that offers consumers the most darling products for around your home (and for your pets!) that are eco-friendly. Their products are also reusable, organic, cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, and compostable. The company is called Friendsheep. Yes, I spelled it correctly too.

These are very well made. In fact, they stood up to our kittens (Hobbes and his older sister, Maisey Boo). They thought they were toys for them. It would take a lot to tear them apart. Not even two crazy kittens could do that.
They are soft too.
Here is a fun idea. Add some essential oils to them to act as air fresheners too. I did that with the ones I have, and every time I put my coffee cup on one of them, I can smell that it releases the fragrance again and again.

Eco Toy Ball “Rainbow Land” Set
My cats LOVE balls. I have balls all over our home. They love to swat them around in every room of our home. Their favorite spot is the hallway since it’s free from furniture and other obstacles. We’ve been woken up in the middle of the night many times by the sound of the cats swatting the balls around. We try to hide any ball that makes sounds, such as those with balls inside.
The eco toy balls from Friendsheep are made from the same material as the coasters. They are colored with eco-friendly dyes. The dyes are non-toxic. They are also the perfect size for cats and kittens. They are very soft too.

I know that they love these balls. I let them have all size balls that came in the bag (after all, we have six cats). I see them around… under the couch… in the hallway… in the bedroom… they are everywhere. My cats love them, especially the kittens (our older cats are a bit on the lazy side).
Summer Kat the Caterpillar Eco Toy
This is such a darling cat toy. These fun and colorful caterpillars are the perfect size for your pet (cats, ferrets) to swat and chase around. These wiggly little toys also come with a bell attached for more fun.
I ended up cutting the bell off because Hobbes was chewing on it a little too much, and I was worried that he was going to bite it off and swallow it. We rather not have the bell surgically removed from his stomach.
The caterpillar toys are available in different color combinations. We received the “summer” one. There is also Candy, Hungry, Rainbow and Brownie.
If you think this is cute, and you don’t have a cat, ferret or other smaller pet (I don’t think these are good for dogs), you can purchase one for yourself. You can added essential oil to it and turn it into an air freshener. I thought this would look cute on your car’s rear view mirror as an air freshener.
Berta the Honey Bee and Sisters
I love bees. Not being stung by them (of course), but I find them fascinating to watch. I used to have flowers on my balcony for the bees to get their pollen.
I can no longer have flowers because our blind cat, Callie, swatted at one and got stung. He paw swelled up so bad! She look like she had a monster foot. Poor baby. Thank goodness she wasn’t severely allergic.
I still like bees though (especially the chubby little bumblebees). That is why I find these so darling!

Sunshine Eco Fresheners
You can use these little fresheners in your drawers, closet, car or any where else you want to add some fresh scents. Simply add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil to the product, and place it where ever you want.
I put a few of these in my drawers and in my closet. They help the scent of the essential oil last longer than other methods I have tried, such as putting the essential oil on a cotton ball. Plus these are much cuter to look at than a cotton ball.
These also act as pet toys too (small animals). Hobbes thought everything I received from Friendsheep was for him. Ha Ha.
To make our cats happy (VERY happy that is), Friendsheep was kind enough to send me some of their catnip to review. Well… I can’t review it personally. I had to rely on Hobbes and the rest of my cats. Based on how crazy they went, I can only assumed they love the catnip.
Organic Cat Nip Tin

We use a lot of catnip, and based on what I see, this catnip looks A LOT fresher than the kind I find in big name pet stores.

In addition to these wonderful products, I also received to review a reusable tote bag (sorry, I forgot to take a photo and it’s in my car at the moment) and a “La Vie en Rose” Eco Fabric Freshener. It’s super cute! The stem is “bendy” so you can attach it to just about anything. It’s also in my car right now (I thought I took a photo of it). It’s super cute.
The rose in my car is scented with a lilac essential oil that I already owned. You can always use essential oils from your own collection or from other brands. They will will work with these products.
Even the packaging is eco-friendly. Some products came in drawstring bags that can be repurposed (I kept mine, but I haven’t found a use for them yet). The paper-like packaging is 100% compostable and recyclable too.
