I love plush animals. I think I own a bit too man for an adult my age. I don’t mind. I’m just a big kid at heart. Not only do I have fun collecting adorable plus animals, but I also have the first two stuffed animals I ever owned. They were given to me when I was a newborn. They have seen better days, but I don’t mind. I’ve had them my entire life (literally) and we’ve gone on many fun adventures together as a kid. They are named “Pal” (gray thing) and Bridgett (dog). I THINK Pal was a teddy bear or a dog at some point. No one in my family even remembers what he was originally.
When it comes to children, I like to gift plush toys that you can do a bit more with. What I mean is, I like plush toys that you can do something with, such as dress up, feed, or interact with in some way (such animatronics).
I’ve recently reviewed plush toys that have interchangeable clothing with their plush toy counterparts, and a plus toy that changes it’s expression on it’s face with just the spin of a dial.
Another interchangeable product I recently received to review are reversible plushies from TeeTurtle.
TeeTurtle is known for their adorable tee shirts and accessories (you should see their “child” products from Disney’s The Mandalorian – they are SO CUTE!). TeeTurtle also sells super cute plush toys.
I was sent to review a few of their reversible plushies. Reversible Plushies are just that – plush toys that can be reversed to change their expressions.
I received to review a pink octopus, red panda and a yellow dinosaur (which my husband will argue is a lemon – ha ha). These plush toys are super cute “as is.” But remember… they are reversible.
To my surprise, my 23 year old daughter saw them on my desk and said that she’s seen them before on Tik Tok. She told me that if I didn’t want them, she’d like to have them, most especially the octopus.
To change the expression on the plushie’s face, as well as it’s color, simple turn it inside out. It’s THAT easy.
The above cuties reversed into these plushies.
The light pink octopus reverses into a darker pink, grumpy octopus. The happy red panda reverses into a black and white panda who is also grumpy. And the yellow dinosaur (“lemon” – ha ha) turns into an angry green dinosaur (or “un-ripe lemon” as my husband jokingly calls it).
Changing the look and expression of the toys makes them interactive, which as a parent and a childcare provider, I can appreciate toys like that. I also like that these toys can teach children about feelings, and they can allow a child to convey how they are feeling if they don’t have the words to describe it.
These are just some of the sweet plush toys available from TeeTurtle. I love the Narwhal.
