In this day and age it’s nice to see people using reusable water bottles instead of plastic, single use bottles. FINALLY! Just the though of how many water bottles are rotting away in landfills around the globe, as well as those that are part of the “plastic island” found in the Pacific Ocean. If you don’t know what I am referring to, there is a massive patch of floating plastic and debris in the Pacific Ocean (between California and Hawaii) that is THREE TIMES the size of the country of France. The next time you use a singe use water bottle, keep that in mind.
I think it’s fair to say that those of us who are trying to do our part in protecting our planet, probably own several different reusable water bottles. I do. I have a bottle that shows me how much water I had drank thus far (and how much more I need to drink), bottles branded with company logos on them, big bottles, little bottles, metal bottles and plastic bottles (the irony, right?).
I recently had the opportunity to try out a new water bottle, and let me tell you, this is THE COOLEST water bottle I have ever seen. The bottle is from the brand zak! (yes, it’s a lower case “z”). It’s called zak!play (that is how it’s spelled).
Zak!play is not only a water bottle, but it’s also a Bluetooth external speaker. It’s two gifts in one.
The zak!play bottle is available in two different styles.
18 ounce tumbler with a slider lid and is made out of double wall stainless steel and a vacuum insulation. It also comes with a straw.
17.5 ounce water bottle with an attached carrying loop. It’s also made from doubt wall stainless steel and a vacuum insulation.
The bottles come in different colors – Aqua (pictured, and like the one I have), grey and red.
Each bottle comes with a removeable Bluetooth speaker. The speaker screws on to the bottle of the bottle. You can remove it when you need to clean the bottle, as well as when you just want to jam out to your favorite tunes.
Now you can keep hydrated and enjoy your favorite songs on the go.
I LOVE this idea! And I love this bottle.
First and foremost, this is a great water bottle. It’s a good, solid, well made water bottle. Even the carrying hoop is firmly attached to it.
It comes with a screw top lid, which prevents your beverage from leaking or spilling out.
I love the color of the bottle I received too.
The removeable external speaker is a genius idea! You can take this bottle with you camping, hiking, or even a picnic with your family. The whole time you can enjoy your favorite music.
As if that wasn’t cool enough, the Bluetooth speaker has LIGHTS! The lights change to the beat of the music.
I took this brief video to give you an idea. I didn’t pick songs (there are brief snippets of a Christmas song and a Kpop song) that really made the colors change a lot, but at least you get the idea. Please no judgement on the Kpop song. I enjoy a variety of genres.
I think the colorful lights makes this water bottle even better. Don’t get me wrong, the Bluetooth external speaker is awesome enough, but the colorful lights are like the cherry on top of a sundae.
I didn’t have to download anything either. I just opened up the Bluetooth section of my smartphone, turned on the speaker (I did charge it first – it comes with a charging plug), selected it on my Bluetooth screen when it popped up, and that’s it. Easy peasy!
This water bottle would make a fun gift for anyone – men, women, teens, even grandma can jam out to her favorite oldies tunes. ANYONE can appreciate this water bottle.
