Valentine’s Day is always associated with love. Typically it’s between adults, but that doesn’t mean that children have to be left out. Some kids get to exchange Valentine’s Day cards with their classmates, which is fun (I remember doing that as a child). But what about the littlest family members, the ones that don’t yet go to school? Is there a way they can get involved in Valentine’s Day too? Of course they can!
Books make great gifts year round. They are great for both holidays and “just because.”
I received to review two of the CUTEST Valentine’s Day books.

You Make My Heart Saur By: Maggie Fischer and Illustrated by Todd Lauzon.
Price: $7.99 | Imprint: Silver Dolphin Books | ISBN-13: 9781645177609
This darling book features adorable, colorful dinosaurs on each page, from a T-Rex to a Brachiosaurus. Several of the pages reference different species of dinosaurs and relates them to love. For example, “My love for you is taller than a Brachiosaurus grows” and “You’re the left to my herbivore.”

Typically boys like dinosaurs, but not always (I loved them as a kid). This book is great for little boys and little girls.
This book isn’t specifically about Valentine’s Day, it’s all about the love between a child and it’s parent.
Cute! Cute! Cute is what I have to say about this book.
About the Author:
Maggie Fischer is originally from Oregon, but now lives in Seattle, Washington, after receiving her B.A. in English from Gonzaga University. The daughter of a children’s librarian, Maggie has grown up surrounded by books and feels impossibly lucky to write and edit books for kids. She spends her time trying not to get worried about the increasing number of crows in her backyard, petting her enormous cat, Finch, and drinking more coffee than is probably healthy.

I’ll Love You More By: Andi Landes and Illustrated by Jacqueline East.
Price: $6.99 | Imprint: Silver Dolphin Books | ISBN-13: 9781645177586
This is another previous book about the love a parent has for a child.
Each page in this charming book features some of the sweetest illustrated animals I have ever seen in a book. Inside you’ll find llamas, monkeys, hedgehogs, sloths, and dogs, to name a few.
“My sweet baby, I will always mean it when I say, I’ll love you tomorrow more than I love you today.”

This is a rhyming book too. Children love rhyming books.
This book has a “cushioned” front and back cover (for lack of a better description) making this a quality book you can pass down from generation to generation.
About the Author:
Andi Landes was born and raised in Southern California and graduated with a B.A. degree in speech pathology and audiology from San Diego State University. She has been in publishing for more than 15 years, working in various capacities including sales, buying, inventory management, and operations—she is excited to add author to the list! Andi has a love for travel, cooking, and watching bad TV. She lives in San Diego with her husband, daughter, Kensley and son, Wyatt.
Look for these wonderful books where ever books are sold.
