Now that summer is over (not officially, but soon), the cool autumn air will be settling in soon (at least for some parts of the country). Sadly, winter is not too far off either. Before you know it we’ll be unpacking our winter gear and getting ready for the big chill.
Honestly, I don’t mind winter. As long as I don’t have to drive in a snow storm, I’m OK with it. Thankfully my husband and our son shovel out the cars after snow storms, so I don’t have to worry about that either.
I prefer cold over heat any day. In the summer there is only so much you can do to cool off. Sometimes even blasting the AC isn’t enough to cool you down (not to mention the crazy high electric bills). In the winter you can warm up with thick socks and a fuzzy blanket.
I don’t get cold that often. I’m overweight so I tell my family I keep warm with my “extra padding.” I think that is some what true. When the rest of my family is cold (they are all normal weights), I tend to be OK or even warm.
The one part of my body that I find hard to keep warm is my feet. I don’t know if it’s just me, or it has to do with my diabetes and/or hypothyroidism.
I never sleep with a blanket on. That is no exaggeration. Even on the coldest night I won’t sleep with a blanket on. The only part of my body I will use a blanket for it my feet, and only my feet.
When I watch TV at night I always snuggle up with a fuzzy blanket to keep my feet warm and to take off the chill to the rest of my body. The problem with most blankets is that they don’t keep your feet totally covered. For that reason I usually have to put socks on.
What if there was a way to ensure that a blanket also keeps your feet warm? There is! It’s called Pedipocket.
Pedipocket is a microfiber, fleece blanket with a special “pocket” built into it for your feet. What a brilliant idea! Whey didn’t anyone thing of this sooner?
Pedipocket takes it one step further by making their blankets almost six feet long (they actually come in three different sizes), ensuring that even tall people can keep toasty warm. For someone like me who is “vertically challenged” (SHORT!), having a long blanket is a God send. I can wrap my entire body is lush, soft, goodness.
Pedipocket sent me one of their blankets to review. I actually received it a couple of months ago, but I felt like writing about something to keep you WARM during a heat wave was not the best idea. That is why I held off until now.
I received to review their “Luscious Leopard” print. Pedipocket is available in a variety of colors and prints, great for women, men and children. They even carry children’s sizes.
I love how nicely the blanket is presented. It’s wrapped in a fabric ribbon. I like that much better than shoving it in a plastic bag and shipping it to the buyer. Kudos to Pedipocket for going that “extra mile” to make it special.
The blanket is incredibly soft and fuzzy. I love it! It’s very comfortable. Even without the pocket, this is a great blanket. The blanket is not too heavy, and not too light. It’s just right. It can take the chill off without making you get overheated.
Our cats like it too, which is why I need to put it away when not in use, otherwise they would be on it all the time. It’s not that I mind, but I don’t want it covered in hair.
The pocket is ingenious! It’s deep enough where your feet won’t accidentally slip out from it. I move around a lot when I’m on the couch watching TV. I have yet to have my feet fall out from the pocket when I’m moving around.
Pedipocket blankets are great for both indoor and outdoor use. You can take these camping, to a football game or out in your backyard while sitting around the fire pit.
I haven’t had the need to wash mine yet, but Pedipocket blankets are wrinkle free, machine washable and dryer friendly.
I can’t rave enough about Pedipocket. I’m not alone either. If you visit their website, PedipocketBlanket.com and check out the customer reviews, you’ll see that I’m not alone.
Pedipockets would make great gifts. With the holiday season fast approaching, these would make great gifts for everyone in your family, as well as “Secret Santa” gifts, and a gift for those hard to buy for people.

What do you think of the idea of the Pedipocket? Does it sound like something you need in your life?
