I have a love/hate relationship with the floors in my home. I love how our floors look. They are laminate flooring that looks like real wood floors. We can’t afford real wood floors, so these were the next best choice. I love them! Even our kitchen floor is a laminate flooring, but it looks like real tile. Even guests in our home are shocked to know they are not real tiles.
Because I appreciate our flooring so much, I do my best to keep them clean and scuff-free. I worry about scratches. And I make sure they don’t get wet.
I know other people feel the same way about their flooring, whether it’s laminate, wood or carpet.

My Magic Carpet sent me one to review. I don’t have little ones in my home, but I do have the four-legged kind (our eight cats).
I like to provide our cats with a clean place to play and sleep. My Magic Carpet was the perfect solution.
When you visit the My Magic Carpet website and check out the available carpets, you can see just how high end they look. I visited other websites that sold throw rugs and runners, and the ones from My Magic Carpet are comparable to the more expensive options.
I chose the rug called “Floral Bloom.” I love how colorful it is and I know I could use it from room to room because it would make my home’s décor.
The rug arrived in perfect condition. It was rolled up and when I unrolled it, it stayed flat for the most part. I did have to put something heavy on the one end for a little bit to make it say completely down on one side, but I only did that for a day, not even.
I love how vibrant the colors are. It’s a beautiful rug.
This rug is lightweight, which I appreciate it. I pick it up every day to shake it off (mostly kitty litter – if you have cats you know what I mean), sweep the area, and put the rug back down.
I have not had the need to wash this off in the washing machine, yet. My cats have been pretty good with this. Not even a hairball has been puked on this (ha ha).
If a review from my cats counts, they are ALWAYS on this rug. They play on it and sleep on it. They even just sit there and chill out on it. I think they like it because it’s very soft and it’s a lot nicer than sleeping on the hard floor.
Our kittens this this rug is their own personal playground. They are ALWAYS bringing toys to this rug and rolling around playing on it.
If cats had thumbs I think all of my cats would give this run a two thumbs up.
My photo doesn’t do this rug justice. It’s more colorful in person. The lighting in our home is not the best (we only have windows on one side – we live in a condo). As you can see, my cats love this rug.
There is a “kink” in one corner. That is only because I pushed it up (by accident) with my desk chair, and it “bend.” I didn’t realize it for a while, so it was stuck that way, causing the kink. The kink has since worked it’s way out.
My Magic Carpet rugs are available in a variety of sizes, from 3′ x 5′ (which is what I have) to 6′ x 6′. I was actually thinking about getting one of the larger sizes to put underneath our coffee table to give our living room a pop of color.
You can narrow down your search based on size, color, styles and shapes (they have round rugs too).
