Happy Valentine’s Day!

As for me, I’ve been married for almost 29 years. We don’t need a special day to let each other that they are loved and appreciated. We exchange cards, and I did buy my husband some candy, but that is about it. We might go out to eat after work today. We’ll see…

Who doesn’t want their hair to look and feel good. My hair used to be my crowing glory when I was younger. It was so thick and lust that I received many compliments about it. Sadly, getting older has caused my hair to thin out a lot. It’s not as thick as I wish it was, and it tends to fall out in handfuls (sigh…) but that doesn’t mean that I gave up on having beautiful hair.

I go to a salon to color my hair. My hair is turning white. I am way too young to have white hair. I plan on coloring my hair for another 10+ years until I am ready to cave in and let it grow to it’s actual color. Because I color my hair, I am very careful about the products I use. They MUST be color safe. In addition, I prefer products that sulfate and paraben free. In addition, they MUST be cruelty free.

The shampoo does a great job cleaning your hair, including any styling product that might be in your hair. In addition it rinses out very well with no leftover residue. The conditioner also rinses out well and combined they leave your hair looking good and feeling oh-so-soft. I have found that my hair didn’t have any knots either. I’m not sure if that is a benefit of these products, but I was easily able to comb my hair right out of the shower.

I am a firm believer in using a good hair mask at least once or twice a week (depending on how often you wash your hair). It’s a great way to give your hair an extra boost of moisturizing which helps control dryness and fizziness.

I had a positive experience with this hair mask too. Even the next day my hair felt soft and after I combed my hair I noticed that my ends were smoother. Even my natural waves looked good the next day.

TOCCA Beauty and Home Fragrances

I have received many compliments on this fragrance. My husband absolutely LOVES it. Not only that, the scent stays on your skin for a very long time, longer than other fragrances I have used in the past. The scent does get “softer” over the course of the day, but it’s still there.

This is my new “go-to” fragrance. It’s great for work and a night on the town. It might have a regal name, but you can still spray some on just to run errands.
