I am what you call a “mutt”. I’m a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Part of my family hails from Norway. Another part comes from Wales. As per my paternal grandmother (Mom, she’s the one who raised me) my biological mother was part Irish and something else (she thought it was English). However I have a form of Anemia that usually effects people of Mediterranean, African or Asian decent. So who really knows what I am at this point.

I embrace Welsh, Norwegian and Irish as my nationalities. My husband is 100% Italian, so my kids are even bigger “mutts” then I am. Ha Ha.

I have been to Wales a couple of times. Some day I hope to visit Norway and Ireland too. Ireland looks beautiful! I have only seen it in pictures but I feel some kind of an affinity to the country.

Many years ago my husband gave me an Irish Claddagh ring. I wore that faithfully every day in place of my wedding ring (long story, my hubby currently wears my actual wedding ring). If worn on the right hand with the heart facing in, you are in love. The Claddagh ring can be worn as a wedding ring too if its worn on the left hand with the heart facing in; two hearts forever joined. That is how I used to wear my ring before I lost it.
