I have a confession to make. I cannot walk into a Bath & Body Works store without buying something. Whether it’s a wallflower scent or hand soap, I always find something I want to buy. I need to keep away when they are having big sales or else there goes all of my money. LOL!
I am especially addicted to their holiday and seasonal scents. The most dangerous ($$$) time for me to go is during the fall, around Christmas and the start of spring. I love buying scented things that remind me of Autumn/Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving, such as Orchard Leaves, Caramel Apple, Creamy Pumpkin and Cranberry Crisp.
During the Christmas holiday it’s all about the Christmas tree scent. Anything and everything that even remotely reminds me of Christmas and a fresh cut Christmas tree is a must have.
I’m usually “OK” with my B&BW addiction during the Winter months. When Spring rolls around I start seeking out scents like Sweet Pea, Cucumber Melon and Kitchen Lemon (fresh, Spring-like scents).
I have already picked up several of their mini-candles (sampler size) and Wallflower scents. I even purchased a few of their Halloween soaps which I can’t wait to use. I picked up their Halloween designed soaps in Sour Drop, Green Apple Candy, Marshmallow and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. I also picked up their special soap and dispenser that lights up and plays sounds when you use it. I believe it’s sold out online and I didn’t see any when I was at the store the other day. Too bad. It’s cute!
Bath and Body Works even has available Halloween designed Pocketbacs (pocket size antibacterials) and lotions.
Believe it or not their holiday collection will be available soon, around late October, early November.
This is what B&BW has in store for the holiday season.

Hand Soaps: Bath & Body Works Limited Edition Holiday hand soaps
Bath and Body Works was kind enough to send me a small sample of one of their upcoming holiday hand soaps, Iced Gingerbread.
The sample I received was the antibacterial hand soap. Inside are tiny little beads that help to remove dirt and germs from the surface of your skin. It’s a light brown color which you would expect from something representing Gingerbread.
The soap actually does smell like Gingerbread. It’s not an overpowering scent. There is also a little something more to it then just a Gingerbread scent. It’s like Gingerbread and ??? I’m having a hard time identifying the additional scent.
I asked my husband to smell my hands after I washed them in the soap and tell me what scent he smelled. He tried several times but could’t place the smell. When I finally mentioned Gingerbread to him he said he could smell the Gingerbread. Even he feels like there is something other then a Gingerbread scent. It’s NOT bad. It’s just like there is another scent in addition to the Gingerbread scent. Whatever it might be it does remind me of the holidays and is a perfect addition to your holiday home.
I’m looking forward to the release of the new holiday scents. I’m sure I’ll stock up on those too.
Speaking of scents and B&BW, have you tried their newest scent, Paris Amour? I finally had the opportunity to try it out. I had also received a sample of the Paris Amour lotion. The lotion contains Shea Butter, which I love. I love how my skin feels after I’ve use Shea Butter. I find that is really adds moisture and leaves your skin feeling oh-so-soft. The body lotion also contains Jojoba oil and Vitamin E to keep your skin hydrated.
The scent is very light and delicate. It’s suppose to be a combination of French Tuilips, Apple Blossoms and Pink Champagne. I sort of do smell the tulips and champagne. Sometimes it smells floral and other times it smell fruity.
I put it on the other day and went to the mall with my family. We must have been gone about five or six hours. When we got home I wanted to change into something more comfy to lounge around our home. As I was getting dressed I caught a whiff of my arm and was surprised to smell the lotion. It was very faint, but none the less I could still smell it. I was rather surprised by that. With most scents they are gone within an hour or two.
Currently the lotion sells for $10.50 but I see on their website, www.BathandBodyWorks.com that select products are buy three get two free. The Paris Amour body lotion is one of those special sale items.
With the holiday season fast approaching look for scents to make your home more warm and inviting from Bath and Body Works. You can also find a variety of products that will make great gifts and stocking stuffers.
You can also follow Bath and Body Works on Facebook, www.Facebook.com/BathandBodyWorks.
*I received free samples of the Paris Amour lotion and the Iced Gingerbread hand soap to review. All other products purchased at B&BW were purchased on my own and were not compensated for. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.
