Now that the weather is getting colder and there is less opportunities to be outside and enjoy the fresh air, many people are turning to indoor activities to keep them warm and entertained. With the great titles being offered on Movies on Demand this month I’m sure you can find a few movies your whole family will enjoy.
I love having Family Movie Night with my family. My kids love enjoying popcorn and a great movie while my husband and I enjoy spending precious moments with our children. They are teenagers now so our time with them is limited. Before you know it they will be grown and on their own. Hopefully they will give us grandchildren so we can enjoy a Family Movie Night with them someday too.
Check out November’s available titles (below). There are a few movies I can’t wait to see including ParaNorman, Arthur Christmas, Men in Black III and The Amazing Spiderman.
How many of these movies have you see already?
Going to the movies can be so expensive. Our family of four can easily spend $100 on just ONE movie. Tickets are $9 each ($36 for my family of four). Then factor in the $12 EACH for a medium popcorn and a bottle of water ($48), plus any movie candy my kids want (another $10-$15) and you are looking at around $100. Ugh!
This is why I like to watch movies at home. On Demand Movies are (on average – depending on your area/provider) under $5.00. You can buy a box of microwave popcorn for around $3 and a few packages of candy (figure another $3). So for around $10-$12 you can recreate the same movie experience at home and save yourself a small fortune.
There are a lot of great movies, both holiday and non-holiday, also coming up this month and next month. Check them out.
I’m sorry that the schedule is not that easy to read, but hopefully you can make it out. If you have any questions about the schedule (if you are having a hard time reading it) just shoot me an e-mail and I can send you the schedule.
There are a lot of fun movies coming out. I love We Bought a Zoo and New Years Eve. Four Christmases is fun too. My family MUST watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at least once each holiday season (or more!).
Do you see any movies that you’d like to see?
