When I was a teen and young adult I would never leave the house until I thought I looked “perfect.” I made sure my hair was “just right,” my make-up was flawless and I was dressed really nice – right down to my jewelry. As I grew up I realized these things were not that important. These days I throw my hair up in a ponytail, I have been know to go out of the house (even to work!) with no make-up on and as long as my clothes are comfortable and look good I’m happy.
Wearing a ponytail is my go-to hairstyle. When I was younger I would literally spend an hour or more drying my hair, curling my hair and/or styling it. I simply don’t have time to style it like I would like to.
I was recently introduced so some styling tools which has not only helped me to cut down time on my beauty routine, but have also given me the opportunity to actually style my hair before work and not just toss it up in a ponytail.
The beauty tool experts known as 1907 by Fromm (yes, that is the brand’s real name) have given their round brushes a metal makeover. The brand is proud to introduce 1907 by Fromm Copper Core Thermal Round Brushes, available at BeautyBrands.com.
Featuring a unique copper core barrel, these brushes take style to new heights with unparalleled advantages over brushes with traditional aluminum ceramic coating. The copper coated barrel isn’t just pretty to look at. It also ensures even heat distribution to dry hair 30% faster, while reducing hand and wrist fatigue and minimizing hair damage. Copper is also naturally antimicrobial, destroying 88% of bacteria, preventing dandruff, itching and flaking. And the brushes also provide superior shine.
In addition to the copper coated barrel, with a sealant to maintain ideal heat resistance over time, this collection from 1907 by Fromm features an innovative insert bar with two unique benefits. The bar uses two-in-one technology to blow-dry with ionic nylon properties, while the 100% pure boar bristle strip grips and shines hair. The waved nylon bristles latch onto locks to dry hair in less time with less damage.
The brushes are available in different sizes including 1.75″, 2″ and 2.5″.
I was sent all three sizes to review.
These are very attractive brushes. I like the copper and black color combination. It’s very sophisticated looking.
For me, these brushes serve a dual purpose. Not only do they help me to dry my hair a bit more quickly, but they also help me to style my hair. What I do is roll some hair up in the brush, aim the hairdryer towards is, then slowly unroll the brush to release the hair. Just before the hair is fully released I remove the hairdryer and let the hair (still on the brush) to cool down a bit, then gently unroll the remaining hair. It gives my hair some curl to it. I do this all over my head then leave the hair to cool fully. Once cool I flip my head over and finger brush my hair from underneath. When I flip my head back over I am left with hair with a lot of body and some wave/curl to it.
If I were to fully blow dry my hair and then curl it normally it would take a lot longer to do.
The brushes also help my hair to look less dry and frizzy.
I used the 2″ or 2.5″ for all over my head and the 1.75″ I use on my bangs.
I suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, so the less time drying and styling my hair the better. I also don’t have much time to do my hair in the morning, so having the ability to style my hair quickly is a time saver.
The brushes can be found at BeautyBrands.com. Do a search for “copper brushes” and they will show up. They range in price from $15.99 for the 1.75″ brush to $17.99 for the 2.5″ brush.
They might be a bit pricey for brushes, but these were make to last for many years to come. Plus they help you to dry and style your hair more quickly which for me makes them worth every penny.
BeautyBrands.com can also be found on social media. All of their links are found at the bottom of their website.
What do you think about these brushes?
