Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do
Do you feel happy when the song Happy plays on the radio? I know some people are probably sick and tired of that song by now, but not me. I still enjoy the song. It’s catchy, has a great tune and most of all it makes me happy. 🙂
Who doesn’t want to be happy and live a happier life? I know I sure to. I strive to find ways to make my life happy on a daily basis. Some days are easier than others. After all, we’re only human and there are days where being happy doesn’t seem like an option. People, life events and situations have a way of bringing you down.
Last week I have having a “happy” day, that is until an honest mistake happened at work and some lady burst into our office and started SCREAMING at us – threatening to close us down and everything. No one was hurt. It was not “life or death”. The other parties involved didn’t seem to matter. Sigh…
After that lady went crazy on us my mood took a nose dive. Suddenly happiness was not an emotion I was feeling. For days afterwards I had a hard time being happy. The whole situation got me down.
Everyone wants to be happy but we don’t always know how to achieve that. What we need are practical solutions to our every day lives to help us lead a happier life.
Sadly life doesn’t come with an instruction manual. That’s where Live Happy magazine comes in. Yes! There truly is a magazine dedicated to helping you live a happier life.
Live Happy magazine encourages readers to find happiness in the small moments life has to offers as well as offers ideas on how to achieve lifelong, authentic happiness. Live Happy magazine provides advice and practical solutions to help people live happier.
I received the August 2014 issues of Live Happy to review. Country singer Miranda Lambert graces the cover of the current issue. Inside she talks about how she’s loving life these days.
The magazine has many articles inside that all have to do with finding happiness in your every day life. Some interesting articles include;
- Live Longer and Happier: 12 Experts Tell You How
- What Kids With Special Needs Teach Us
- Turning Negatives Into Positives by Holly Robinson Peete
- Finding Normal by Mariel Hemingway
- Naturally Happy
- Put Your Smile On: Why AÂ Positive Lifestyle Could Help You Live Longer
This is more than just a magazine – in a way it seems more like a book. The pages within the magazine are made with a thick, quality paper, not regular magazine-like paper. Even the cover appears to be more like a book than a magazine. I have a feeling it’s made that way so that it lasts longer. I’m sure people save their copies of Live Happy and/or pass them on the friends and family.
The pages are filled with great photographs to accompany the articles and other features inside.
There are advertisements in the magazine – as with any magazine. However I didn’t find the ads “annoying”. In other magazines it seems like every other page is an ad. That was not the case with the Live Happy magazine. To be honest I barely noticed the advertisements.
I really enjoyed the articles. Most were brief (a page or two) and others were a bit longer like the article on Miranda Lambert and the article about what we can learn from children with special needs.
The articles and information found in the pages of the magazine were interesting and provided me with a lot of “food for thought”. They didn’t rehash the same thing over and over again. Each article was different and each one provided me with advice and suggestions on things I can do to life a happier life.
I have applied a few things I’ve learned to my life and it seems to be helping. That is not to say I’m NOT a happy person – I am! But like I mentioned earlier, sometimes life has a way of throwing us off track and can play with our emotions.
Live Happy is a delightful magazine that can be enjoyed by anyone – young, old, male or female.
