Organic clothing is also very durable because it is free from the chemical bleaches, dioxins, and formaldehydes used in conventional cotton. Organic clothing will last longer than a conventional cotton T-shirt. You might pay a little extra upfront to purchase the clothing but because it lasts longer it actually ends up saving you money in the long run.
Organic fibers are hypoallergenic because organic fibers do not contains any man-made chemicals or products. That is a huge benefit for many people with allergies or skin diseases that are triggered by toxic chemicals.
When I first tried out organic cotton I was worried that once I washed it the clothing would fade or loose it’s shape. That is not the case at all. My daughter’s shirt from Buddhi Wear has been lovingly worn numerous times and washed/dried numerous times and it looks just as good as the first day she got it. It never lost it’s shape and the colors are just as vibrant as day one.
I love the variety of clothing and Buddhi Wear and their fun sayings. They have one that says “Tree Hugger” and another that says “Go Green for Me”, just to name a few.
I haven’t tried them but they offer Yoga pants and they look unbelievably comfy! I would love to get a pair or two. If they feel anything like our “OM” tee then the pants must feel amazing.
If you have a baby you might want to check out their DVD called “Yoga with your baby”. That looks interesting. While you are there look at all the adorable baby clothing including comfy yoga pants!
