Everyone loves a celebration. It’s not uncommon for people to want to make a toast to mark a special occasion. Usually people toast with champagne or some other kind of “bubbly”. However not everyone is into alcoholic beverages and toasting with an alcoholic beverage means excluding the younger party goers. Champagne can also be expensive.
You can purchase bottles of sparking juices, or you can make your own bubbly using sparking water and juice.
This holiday season why not celebrate with Ferrarelle Platinum. Ferrarelle Platinum is the only sparkling water that will be on everyone’s lips this holiday season.
You can drink Ferrarelle just as you would any other kind of beverage, or you can mix it into your cocktails to give the a boost with some carbonation.
My favorite way to enjoy sparking water is to mix it with fruit juice. I like fruit juices, but they don’t often sick well in my stomach. Things that are too sweet tend to make my stomach upset. To avoid that I often mix my favorite juices with sparking water. My favorite is Cranberry juice with sparking water. It allows me to enjoy one of my favorite juices without it bothering my stomach. The sparking water waters down the juice just a bit, but the bubbles more then make up for it. Sparking water, such as Ferrarelle, can also turn regular juice into a festive beverage.
Grape juice also works well. Personally I don’t like sparking water mixed with apple or orange juice but my kids do. Kids can also enjoy Ferrarelle. It turns any old juice into something more. My kids tell me it makes juice seem more like soda.
Ferrarelle Platinum is naturally effervescent. The natural bubbles in Ferrarelle are finer and more numerous than in water manufactured with added CO2, thus giving Ferrarelle more delicacy on the plate and a unique taste. By a fluke of geology, Ferrarelle is naturally effervescent, coming out of the source already sparkling. Most other brands of sparkling waters come out of the ground still (or flat) and are then artificially carbonated like soda. This makes their carbonation very strong and harsh while Ferrarelle has a much softer texture which complements the best spirits and cuisine without compromising them.
The Ferrarelle spring is located near the extinct Roccamonfina volcano in the Campagnia region, where the rainwater starts a 9.3 mile journey during which time it is purified and enriched with precious healthy minerals. Subject to very strict controls, Ferrarelle’s mineral water is tested 615 times per day and its quality is guaranteed by major international certifications including the ISF. Each of its bubbles contains all the natural richness of precious minerals such as:
– Calcium: Ferrarelle contains 365 mg per liter. In Italy, Ferrarelle is often recommended to lactose-intolerant people for their daily calcium requirement.
– Bicarbonate: Helps to facilitate digestion.
– Silica: Essential to delay the aging process of tissue.
– Potassium: Helps to reinforce the muscular system.
Ferrarella Platinum comes in an elegant bottle that is sure to impress any host or hostess and is the perfect accessory for chic holiday gatherings.
Ferrarelle Platinum is a trendy Italian offering for those who appreciate the best bubbles without the alcohol. And because it doens’t contain alcohol it’s great for children, pregnant women and people who can’t have alcohol due to medications. It’s also a great way to celebrate with your guests and not have to worry about any drinking and driving issues.
I really enjoyed our bottle of Ferrarelle. I clearly noticed a difference compared to the sparking waters I normally buy (one is a brand name, the other is generic). There is a noticable difference. I don’t drink sparking water “as is”. I always mix it in with a juice. The Ferrarelle adds the perfect amount of bubbles. Some sparking waters I’ve used either have too many (making it hard to enjoy because it’s hard to drink it that way) or not enough bubbles (bordering on “flat”). I think just serving it in the beautiful bottle adds to it’s charm. It looks elegant and some how that makes even a simple glass of Cranberry with Ferrarelle seem like a fancy drink.
Ferrarella Platinum is readily available. It can be purchased at Dean & DeLuca, DiPalo’s Fine Foods (www.dipaloselects.com), Fairway and Gristedes and retails for around $3.99 a bottle.
