Children love to collect things (as do adults). As someone who works with children, I enjoy seeing what the new “must have” toys and collectibles are. Some of them leave me scratching my heads as to why they are so popular, and others I can clearly see why people are fans and collecting them.
The only thing I collected when I was a kid was stuffed animals, books, Fisher Price Little People (I have the original wood ones), and Breyer horses.
When my kids were little, Ty Beanie Babies were all the rage. I must have boxes of them in our basement that my daughter told me to hold on to because she wants them for her kids.
I also love Ty toys. I have a few of their Beanie Boos. I can’t go into my local drug stores without stopping to check out what’s new with Ty Beanie Boos. I especially love their holiday and seasonal ones.
Now Ty has a new toy on the market that is sure to be a fun collectible for kids – Ty Beanie Bouncers.
Beanie Bouncers come with names and birthdates like other Ty toys. They are a mashup of the beloved Beanie Babies and Beanie Boos. They are soft and cuddly with big expressive eyes. The surprising feature with Beanie Bouncers is that they bounce. They are round like balls, and appear to be made on top of a bouncy ball.
Looking at them with their fuzzy bodies, ears, antennas, fins, hats and other features, you would think they wouldn’t bounce too much. But they do bounce – and they bounce PERFECTLY!
I received samples to review for myself. I am very impressed by how super adorable they are, not to mention very soft and furry. I have been using them like a fidget toy. I like to hold them and roll them around in my hands. I find it soothing. For that reason I keep a few of my favorites on my desk for decoration and for when I feel like I need something to fidget with.
Oh boy, can these balls bounce! I’m sure my downstairs neighbor is not too keen on listening to me bounce them around in our condo. For that reason I can’t wait to bring them to work for my work kids to play around with outside on the playground and in the gym.
According to Ty, Beanie Bouncers can go as high as fifty (50)fee in the air! You can kick, throw, spin, snuggle, juggle, dribble, chuck it Beanie Bouncers – the possibilities are endless. These Bouncers bring a new level of fun and excitement to everyday life.
Beanie Bouncers come in a lot of fun designs from cuddly kittens to popular characters like Stitch, Bluey, Harry Potter, Marvel, Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse and more.
I received to review the following.
Posey (Pig) – I LOVE this piggy! The face is just too cute! She makes me smile when I look at her. We also have a cat named Rosie and my nickname for her is “Rosie Posey,” so this little piggy is perfect for me.
Purry (ginger cat) and Sammy (Siamese cat). We have eight (yes, 8) cats. I’m officially a “crazy cat lady,” so anything cat related I’m going to love.
Spots is a Cheeth, so I adore him too.
Gemma is a rainbow kitten.
The popular character ones I received which I know the work kids are going to go crazy for are Bluey, Stitch, Peppa, Spiderman and Paw Patrol. The Spiderman ball is currently under furniture somewhere as my cats were playing with it. Not that it’s a selling point, but my cats love to play with these too. They knock them off my desk and chase them around our home. Spiderman for some odd reason is their favorite one.
I’m keeping all the feline ones and donating the character ones to my work site.
I’m still so impressed by how well these bounce, despite their furriness and things like ears and tails.
Ty Beanie Bouncers make for a fun gift. They are PERFECT stocking stuffers and Secret Santa gift exchanges for kids.
You can find Ty Beanie Bouncers at Ty.com as well as many retail locations across the country.
