Create Some Holiday Magic at Build-a-Bear Workshops (Giveaway!)

If you are stumped for a gift idea for a child, or even an adult, in your life why not consider Build-a-Bear. Making a new friend is fun to do whether you are 2 or 102. I could easily spend $40 at Build-a-Bear for myself, let alone anyone else. I adore the critters and their adorable outfits and accessories.

Our family has a nice collection of Build-a-Bear friends. Even my husband made his own bear a few years ago. I lost count of how many my children have.

Years ago, when our dog was a puppy, we dressed him in Build-a-Bear clothes for Halloween. They fit him perfectly! LOL!

Last year for the holiday my kids received Holly & Hal Moose. Have you seen them before? They are so cute! We love their holiday show too. I only wish they aired it more often. I need to pick up the DVD to add to our holiday collection.

I also need to get the plush Frosty the Snowman for my husband. That is one of his favorite holiday characters.

This holiday season my children received a plush Rudolph and Clarice from the classic movie Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I LOVE them! They are wonderful. They look exactly like the actual characters.

My kids had a blast stuffing their new holiday friends. My son stuffed Rudolph and my daughter stuffed Clarice. My son wanted to make Rudolph as stuffed as possible, but he still had to be snugly (as per my son).

My kids wanted to dress Rudolph and Clairice in non-holiday attire but I talked them into dressing them for Christmas. After all Rudolph would not be the same in swim trunks and sun glasses.

Check out how super cute these two are.

We dressed Rudolph in a cape and gave him a collar with jingle bells on it. Clarice is wearing a darling red dress with white polka dots and the same jingle bell collar that Rudolph has. Clarice comes with the cute bow on her head.

Rudolph and Clarice are sold separately but they are just so adorable that they just have to be together. Both plus speak too! And if you have both of them they talk together. All you have to do is press

Rudolph says “My name is Rudolph, Hi“.

Clarice responds “My name is Clarice, Hi“.

Then Clarice says “I think you’re cute” to which Rudolph responds “I’m cute! I’m Cute! She said I’m cute!”.

They sound like the characters from the movie too!

When Rudolph speaks his nose lights up. When Clarice talks a little heart on her chest lights up. To make the character speak you just have to press their left ear.

They are both very soft and cuddly. I love the little outfits we purchased for them too. Clarice has tulle under her dress and Rudolph’s cape has pretty shiny silver snowflakes embroidered on it.

Individually or as a set the Rudolph and Clarice would make and ideal holiday gift for a child or for an adult who loves the classic show and is young at heart.

We also picked up a cute little mouse on clearance for only $7.00. My husband things he’s kind of creepy with his long pink tail. I picked up an antler headband with a jingle bell on it, shorts and a Christmas shirt that actually lights up when you press the button. Now the little mouse is all dressed for the holiday season too. To make him even more festive I picked up some baking accessories including holiday cookies.

Anyone can enjoy Build-a-Bear a number of ways. You can take that special someone to  a workshop to make their new friend in person, or you could give a gift card so that the recipient can go when its convenient for them. Build-a-Bear also offers pre-made gifts for any occasion.

My whole family enjoys visiting Build-a-Bear any time of the year.
