I can’t believe that I need to start gearing up for sending out Christmas cards. It seems like it was summer just yesterday. Now we’re just weeks away from Thanksgiving and just over a month to Christmas. Sigh… time flies too quickly.
I have a lot of new people to add to my holiday card list this year, so I’m in need for a lot of cards this holiday season.
This year I’m checking out what an online shop called CardFool has to offer.
What I love about CardFool is that they offer an enormous collection of humorous holiday cards. Yes, I send out traditional Christmas cards, but for most of my friends and family I enjoy sending them funny holiday cards.
Check out some fun examples of the types of holiday cards available at CardFool.
The card about Santa’s “B” Team cracks me up.
Each of the above cards also has text on the inside of the card.
What makes CardFool unique is that once you pick out the card you want to purchase, you can add your personalization and the address of the recipient. CardFool does the rest. They print out the card and mail it off to the person you are sending it to.
No more getting cramped hands writing out dozens of holiday cards. No more driving all over town looking for the perfect card. And no more long lines at the post office for stamps. CardFool takes care of all of that for you.
Each card from CardFool is $4.99. That includes personalization, stamp and shipping it out.
I know that this might seem pricey for some people IF you have to send out a lot of cards. If you send out dozens of holiday cards, this might not be the best option for you. I would recommend picking up a box of cards instead. If you only send out a few cards, or if you want to find the perfect card for special people on your holiday card list, then CardFool is a great option.
The cost is comparable to other greeting cards you pick up at your local card store or grocery store. Cards I’ve purchased in the past I have paid between $4.00 – $6.00 for, and that doesn’t include a stamp.
You can even upload your own photos to send out a very special card with no additional fee.
CardFool is not just for holiday cards. CardFool has card available for all holidays and occasions. They even have cards for occasions and holidays you might not think about sending cards for including Thanksgiving, cards from your pet (dog or cat), funny political cards, get well cards, anniversary cards and more.
This service is great to have it you forgot about someone’s birthday and need to send out a card quickly. Any card that you order before 2:00 PM (CST) is printed and mailed out the very SAME DAY. That is great for people like me who always tend to forget about birthdays and anniversaries.
CardFool also offers “e-cards” (electronic cards) that can be personalized and emailed to the recipient for $1.99.
CardFool sent me a few sample cards to check out their quality. The cards I received are the very same quality of card you would purchase at a local card store, grocery store or retail store. The paper is a decent quality and the graphics/illustrations are crisp, clear and colorful. If I didn’t know that these came from an online store I would think they came from a local card store.
In the past I have received cards from similar type of online stores and the paper was thin and the quality was that of a boxed card worth only a few cent each (compared to individual cards costing a lot more). I am impressed with CardFool’s quality. Because of that I am most likely going to purchase from them for the holiday season, as well as in the future.
When you create a CardFool account you’ll be able to review past purchases, view saved cards, favorite cards and even set up reminders.
CardFool works with many artists and card designers, so new cards are being added all the time.
If you would like to check out CardFool for yourself, visit CardFool.com. The brand can also be found on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Those links are found at the bottom of their website.
What do you think about CardFool? Does it sound like something you would use for future card purchases? Why or why not? Feel free to comment and share your thoughts.
