Now that Halloween is over it’s time to turn our focus on Thanksgiving. Who is going to host it this year? What dish are you going to bring with you? How are you going to fit the entire family around the table?
Food is a very important part of the holiday, however you shouldn’t forget about other important things like holiday décor and making your home look warm and inviting.
To make your holiday table look amazing why not consider a beautiful centerpiece along with your best china and stemware.
LDF offers these handy tips on creating a spectacular centerpiece that will “wow” your guests this year.
Fun & Festive Decor Ideas: “An inexpensive way to add interest to your floral arrangement is to include fall vegetables,” says Kelsey M., lead florist at LDF Blooms. “Try placing small gourds, ornamental kale and peppers on sticks and insert them into your arrangement to instantly create a unique and festive centerpiece.”
Place a few blooms into small, hollowed pumpkins to create fun mini vases that can be scattered on your Thanksgiving table.
A Few of our Favorite Fall Flowers: Dahlias, Antique Hydrangeas, Hypericum Berries, Sunflowers, Kale, Roses and Calla Lilies. All are definitely in season and create unique floral arrangements.
Favorite Fall Colors: Go for deep reds, sunset oranges, purples and splashes of yellow to create a warm, Thanksgiving floral arrangement.
How to Make Flowers Last: Your flowers will last even longer if you change the water in your arrangements every day and cut the stems diagonally so that your flowers have more room.
I LOVE the idea of using a pumpkin as a vase. That is such a cute idea. I am going to have to see about doing something like this. Maybe even buy mini pumpkins and place a single flower in it and use the as place settings.
If a DIY centerpiece is not something you have time to make this year you can always purchase one. LDF offers unique centerpieces to dress up you holiday tale and take away some of the stress of decorating.
You can place your order at www.ldfblooms.com or call 855.LDF.BLMS (855.533.2567) to have a custom arrangement made for the same low price.

Do you decorate for Thanksgiving? What kind of decorations do you use? Do you like to purchase centerpieces or create your own?

I’d like to use a pumpkin for a vase, too. I’ve seen some cute ideas using pumpkins, small and larger! I’d use the carved out pumpkin for baking and the seeds, too, so it wouldn’t go to waste. It would be a stress buster to find a few things for the vase, lots of fun! I love fall!
Oh thanks for the discount code. I may just order some for our dinning room table this year. I also love the idea the idea of the Pumpkin as a vase.
