I love anything and everything related to Disney. I grew up on Disney, as did my children. I know that one day when I have grandchildren they will also fall in love with Disney like the rest of our family.
Since I was a child Disney has added so many new characters to their line up. Even though there are so many wonderful characters from all the great movies that have been made over the past 40+ years, it’s impossible to think about the ones who started it all – Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
I grew up watching the Mickey Mouse Club. I also thought that Minnie Mouse was a cute as s button (you’ve got to love that big read bow!).
The one and only time my family went to Disney World I picked up some Minnie Mouse jewelry for myself.
Another brand I am totally crazy about is Fisher Price – specifically their Little People. I went crazy when I found out that Fisher Price made Disney character Little People. I am pretty sure I have all of the ones made including all of the Princesses and the other characters from Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Lion King and Bambi. Hopefully I haven’t missed any!
Fisher Price makes a lot of adorable Disney character toys. One of their newest additions is the new Fisher-Price Cheerin’ Minnie.
Cheerin’ Minnie is a free standing Minnie Mouse “doll”. She’s not a doll in the true sense of the word (you can’t change her clothes or brush her hair – I mean fur. LOL). She is dressed up as a cheerleader in an adorable pink and white polka dot outfit and pink and white pom poms.
On the top of Minnie’s foot is a button. When you press the button Minnie will sing, cheer and move around to one of twenty phrases/songs.
Check her out singing one of my favorite songs from back when I was a teen – Tony Basil’s “Mickey”.
I’m sorry the quality of the video wasn’t that great.
What surprised me the most about Cheerin’ Minnie is that she doesn’t wobble or fall over when she’s cheering. I honestly thought she might but I have played her over and over again on different surfaces and she’s pretty sturdy.
Sometimes we all need a little cheerleader by our side to motivate us and make us feel better about our accomplishments. Just like cheerleaders do on the side line. They are there to motivate and cheer on the sports team players and to get the spectators excited. Cheerin’ Minnie can do the same thing for your child or grandchild.
If you child/grandchild has a big test coming up that they are worried about, perhaps Cheerin’ Minnie might give them enough “pep” to feel confident about the situation and maybe motivate them to study more. What child wouldn’t want their own personal cheerleader by their side?
Check out some real live “minnie” (mini) cheerleaders in action along with Cheerin’ Minnie and hear why they cheer.
What a cute video!
Our daughter was a cheerleader once too (I covered up the team name for safety reasons).
Check out the old computer monitor in the background.
Aside from the realistic movement of her arms I like that Cheerin’ Minnie plays 20 different songs/sayings. Sometimes toys only play a few which makes them boring after a while. Cheerin’ Minnie has a lot to day and cheer about.
Fisher-Price’s Cheerin’ Minnie is recommended for children ages 2+. She would make a wonderful gift for the little cheerleader in your life or for a child who could use their own personal cheerleader.
Cheerin’ Minnie is available at many retail locations, both on and off line. She retails for around $45.00.

Adorable!
My niece would love this. She wants to be a cheerleader.
How adorable. I was a cheerleader but never had stuff like this. I love all Disney too so thanks for sharing your vids.
This is so stinking cute! If my daughter was younger I would get her one in a heart beat. I love Minnie Mouse. I saw the commercial for this the other night and thought it was great.
Does your daughter know, you are posting old pictures of her?!! I just became an Aunt and my mom, a grandma. My sister gave birth last week to Zoe. We are already talking about when they will visit Florida where we live to see Disney World. I never really attached to Minnie or Mickey. I always liked Peter Pan, and now with all the new characters I love toy story.
That doll is great and I can see it competing a bit with Tickle Me Elmo
Cute is the dickens -this is a toy any little girl would love. Cut picture of your daughter !
my niece loves all things disney as well and this would be a great gift for her
