Our daughter is in 10th grade. We’re already talking about things like college. Ugh! It’s a scary thought to send your child off to college. It’s a scary world out there. I’m still trying to help my daughter manage to boil water (I’m not kidding).
I don’t have a child in college yet, but I often think about how my kids would be on their own. Will they have enough to eat? Will they know how to prepare their meals? Will they end up eating out of the vending machine every night?
If there is one thing I know about college students from listening to family members in college is that college kids love snacks. And who would blame them. After studying and attending classes all day long who wouldn’t want to sit back, relax and enjoy some yummy treats.

I took a few pictures of the bag. In one of the photos one of my cats got in the way. I decided to use this photo to show you just how big the drawstring laundry bag is compared to a normal size cat.
We kept the cardboard shipping tube that came with the care package I received to review. Our cats enjoyed running through it (we popped off both ends). Sadly it got smashed when my son stepped on it instead of over it. At least the cats had fun with it for a few days.
The shipping tube is VERY sturdy and will ensure that the contents of the care package arrive in one piece and not all smashed up. It just couldn’t hold up to a 130 pound teenage boy. LOL!
The contents of the care packages varies depending on what size you get.

I was sent a medium care package to review. True to their word my care package included 38 items. Most of them are shown in the pictures below.
There are so many goodies included in this package including Ramen Noodles (a college student’s “staple”), chips, cookies, candy, Nutella spread, cereal and even Poptarts.
One of my favorite goodies that come with every RedShip.com care package is a beautiful bowl and really nice quality chopsticks. The chopsticks are made of plastic and can be washed and reused over and over again.
The fortune cookies that are included in the care package are a nice touch.

I was very impressed with the care package. The contents arrived in great condition. My favorite part of this, besides knowing that the whole package will delight it’s recipient, is the bowl and laundry bag included in each shipment. A college student could end up with a nice set of bowls and enough laundry bags to share (hopefully not to bring home to mom). Wow-what an amazing amount and variety of items! I’m in a panic because my son graduates this year and is off to college (out of state-ahhhh!), and my daughter is 15 so I’m just a mess. This would not only be so cool for my son-it’s full of most of his favorite foods lol, but it does give you peace of mind, especially when they are 1st adjusting to college life.

I think I would send one of these to my best friend back in Oklahoma. I moved to Florida two years ago but we talk daily… I think she would appreciate receiving a care package from me, plus the food inside includes some of her favorites. Spoiling your best friend is what life is all about, right?! 🙂

I like that get comes with a variety of things that most people like and not a bunch of snacks you have never heard of. This would be for my niece who is turning 18 soon and wiil be going to college this summer.
