I don’t mind cooking for the most part. There are plenty of times I have been too lazy (or busy) to whip up a wholesome meal. Instead I turn to pasta or something equally as easy.
I know when we move and I am going to be itching to host dinner parties and informal gatherings. I have been anxious to play host for many years.
I have to admit that I am not a gourmet chef. I also don’t know how to cook for large crowds. I’m only used to cooking for four people – me, my husband and our two children. I wish my mother in law was still alive. She cooked for her, my father in law and six children. Even when she was living by herself (my father in law passed away) after all the children have “flown the coop” she still continued to cook for a small army. She would always call us up and tell us to come and get the foods she made (she lived across the street). I certainly didn’t mind. 🙂
