I’m not big on wearing much jewelry. When I was in high school I wouldn’t leave the house without earrings in all six holes (three in each ear), bracelets and a necklace. I felt that my “look” wasn’t complete until I was accessorized. I would even color coordinate my accessories to match my outfit. How 80’s of me. LOL!
After I became a Mom I realized that there was more important things to worry about like making sure I had enough diapers in the diaper bag and toys to keep the kids busy. Jewelry was the last thing on my mind. With the exception of my wedding ring most of my jewelry went un-worn. It wasn’t until my children got older and self sufficient that I started to wear jewelry again.
I tend to wear a select number of pieces. I have a few favorites and I stick with them. My jewelry box is filled with some lovely pieces such as my antique garnet cluster cocktail ring that belonged to my great-great-Auntie Ida.
I love to wear jewelry that means something to me. There is usually some kind of significance to the pieces I wear. I wear a Claddagh ring that my husband gave me with our names engraved on the inside. I wear that one pretty much all the time. I also wear the dollar store quality jewelry my children have given me as gifts over the years including rings that can be stretched open to fit.
Some of my favorite pieces include a couple’s ring with me and my husband’s birthstones (the faux diamond fell out so I can’t wear it anymore) and a family necklace with all our birthstones in it. I used to have a mother’s ring until it fell off my finger and into the toilet at Walmart (one of the ones that flushed automatically). Sigh…
I like to wear pieces that remind me of my precious family. One of my new favorite pieces is a gorgeous personalized mother’s bracelet from Beaded Royalty.
The photo above is of my actual bracelet. Its a double strand bracelet with both my kid’s names on it. When I wear it the strands are one on top of one another(not separate like they appear in the photo). If you look towards the clasp you’ll see a double heart charm. That represents me and my husband. I consider this a family bracelet more so then a mother’s bracelet.
Notice the interesting clasp? I had requested a clasp that was easy to use since I don’t have very nimble fingers. It took me and my husband a bit to figure it out but once we got the hang of it I was able to easily do it on my own. You have to turn the “bar” sideways and pull it all the way through to lock the bracelet on. To remove you need to pull the “bar” out a bit, turn is sideways and then slide it back through.
The bracelet feels heavy when you hold it in your hands. I was a bit concerned that it would feel heavy on my wrist too but it doesn’t. Aside from visually seeing it on my wrist I don’t really notice that I have it on. It’s not cumbersome in any way.
I wish I could get a close up picture of the beads. The round beads appear to be filigree. They are hollow in the center so you can see right through them.
I was concerned about getting scratches on the bracelet. Whether you are writing, typing or eating your wrist inevitably rubs against the table top surface. So far, so good. I have not noticed any scratches.
The sterling silver really shines when you wear it out in the sunlight. I love shiny, sparkly things! LOL!
I haven’t been too many places since I received the bracelet but the few people who have seen it have complimented me on it. Because its double stranded it does stand out on my wrist. It really catches people’s attention. My Step-mother LOVED it. She would do one for the grand kids but that would make it four strands which would be “overkill”.
Beaded Royalty offers a large selection of jewelry for any occasion. I LOVE the idea of giving a graduate a special bracelet with a graduation cap charm and school color beads. I think this would be perfect for a high school or college graduate. Not only is it a fine piece of jewelry it’s also a special reminder of an important milestone in their lives.
Beaded Royalty carries a collection of Cancer awareness bracelets for Breast Cancer, Childhood Cancer, Colon Cancer and a few others. A unique bracelet that is available is a Cancer bracelet for men. Rarely do you find Cancer jewelry for men. Its almost always only for women and children. I like that there is a very special and unique piece just for the Cancer survivor or patient male in your life.
What I love about Beaded Royalty jewelry is that there are so many wonderful gift giving ideas for anyone in your life. Whether you are looking for the perfect gift for a bride-to-be or a special gift for Grandma, you’ll find something unique at Beaded Royalty that you will be proud to give and your loved one will be thrilled to receive.
Check out some of the beautiful pieces of jewelry offered at Beaded Royalty.
You might think that personalized jewelry like this would be very pricey. As someone who lives on a VERY tight budget I have to say that the pieces at Beaded Royalty are actually not that bad. Even at my budget they are “doable”. Most pieces are between $50 – $100. Considering that these pieces are made exceptionally well they can be worn for many years I would say that its well worth the investment. I would even venture to say that these pieces are heirloom quality which means they could be passed down from generation to generation and well loved for many years to come.
Beautiful beaded earrings are around $20 which is pretty much what you would pay at the store. The only difference is that these earrings are made with sterling silver and Swarovski crystals.
The earrings are also an affordable option for teacher gifts. I know from speaking with several teacher that they have more mugs and teacher tote bags then they will ever need. Gift cards are always welcomed and appreciated but if you want to give them something more personalized you could give them one of these affordable pairs of earrings or even a beaded lanyard for their teacher’s badge.
Don’t forget to give yourself a gift. There is nothing wrong with indulging in some fine pieces of jewelery for yourself. Alicia at Beaded Royalty will work with you to create a one of a kind piece especially for you.
With the holidays fast approaching you will certainly want to bookmark Beaded Royalty for all your gift giving needs, even year round.

What beautiful items! I love the significance of the heart being you and your husband, holding the entire piece together.
I have a clasp like that one on one of my necklaces and it puzzles me sometimes too, but once you get the hang of it, it makes sense and is easy! 😉

So fashionable. I love the look of these. The name bracelet’s are super cute. I know my daughter would luv one and the fact that her name was on the necklace in the 1st pic has nothing to do with it.
