For those of you who read my blog frequently you’ll know that I’m not one to post “ads”, unless it’s some kind of amazing, once in a life time price that can’t be beat (like the great deals on DVDs and magazines I find on Amazon).
As a home business owner (www.Everyday-Occasions.com) I can tell you first hand how hard it is to get the word out about your products. Oh trust me – I KNOW! I once paid $200 for an ad in a local publication and I received NOT ONE order inquiry. That was the worst $200 I ever spent, not to mention I really don’t have that kind of money to fool around with either.
With that said I have complete understanding when other small businesses are really trying to get their business off the ground.
A long time ago (last year) I had done a post about these super adorable purses called Rebelle Friendship Bags. They are these adorable purses that actually come apart to make two different bags.

The purses unzip to form two separate purses and the backpack comes apart to be a backpack and a purse.
If your daughter as a “BFF” she could keep one bag and her friend could have the other. Or if you have two daughters each could have one of the purses.
These are adorable (love the colors and designs).
Currently (and not for very long either) they are on sale at eBags (CLICK HERE). The purses, for example, are normally $40 but are on sale for $29.99 PLUS an additional discount of 10% making the total price $26.99. Not bad at all.
I’m not sure how long the sale or discount is going on. So if you are interested you should hurry.
Please note that I am not reviewing the bags, nor am I being compensated in any way for this post. I just thought I’d post this because these are cute purses and backpacks and a fun idea and it’s such a shame that no one really knows about them. Plus it’s “good Karma” and I’m always looking to “Pay it Forward”. People have been so kind as to make the Better Health Pledges for me (CLICK HERE for my shameless plea) so the least I can do is “Pay it Forward”.
Speaking of which, if any of my readers are on Facebook a fellow She Scribes reader could use some votes to help her win beautiful lanyards for every teacher in her child’s school. Instead of those boring ribbon lanyards she has the opportunity to win gorgeous lanyards (beaded ones too!) for EVERY teacher in her child’s school which I think is WONDERFUL!
If you could go to this link,

Susan has a wonderful and informative parenting site, http://susanheim.blogspot.com. You should check it out sometime if you have a chance.
On a side note… I have a new family member who clearly wants to be a reviewer – MY DOG!!! I swear, every time he sees any delivery trucks show up he barks like crazy. I used to think he was just doing what dogs do. Then I realized that he wants the boxes! Every single time UPS or FedEx shows up our dog Espn (pronounced Es-Pin) freaks out. He thinks whatever comes in the box is for HIM! I just realized that earlier when I received a package and put the contents on my desk and saw him standing up next to my desk sniffing it. It’s as if he was checking it out to see if it was a “dog” thing or not.
Humm…maybe I can set him up with his own blog and let him do doggy reviews? Maybe our four cats will join him? Ha Ha.
Personally I think the cats are more interested in the actual boxes. I’m amazed at how quickly someone lays claim to them the moment I empty the contents. All my cats love to sleep in the boxes, big or small. There is nothing funnier then trying to see a 20+ pound cat trying to squeeze into an itty bitty box. Ha Ha.
