As an adult, do you drink a lot of juice? Do you drink something other then then Orange Juice? Do you drink Grape juice, Apple Juice or Cranberry juice?
Often when we think of juice we think of juice for kids. You don’t often see an adult having a bottle of juice with their lunch or juice as a snack.
Bossa Nova will change the way you think about juice. This is NOT your typical kiddie drink. In fact this more geared towards adults then for children (children can drink it of course).
Bossa Nova offers a full line of “superfruit” juice beverages that provide nutrition and energy along with unique tastes. The juices are made with healthy ingredients and are low in sugar and calories.
What exactly are “superfruits”? Here is a little “Superfruit 101” to get you familiar with the ingredients found in Bossa Nova drinks.
Acai– This is a powerful anti-inflammatory that helps to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system and protect against free radicals (aka – bad stuff). Acai berries are higher in antioxidants then blueberries or pomegranates.
Acerola– High Vitamin C. Acerola has 20 times MORE Vitamin C then oranges with about half the sugar plus favonoids (aka – good stuff) and micronutrients.
Goji Berry– This berry is great for vision health, immunity support and boosts life essential micronutrients. It also contains 33 trace minerals (aka – more good stuff).
Mangosteen– This has anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and body balancing properties. This fruit has been an important part of Asian medicine for thousands of years.
I’m very sensitive to things that are overly sweet. As much as I’d want to I can’t stomach things like Kool Aid, Tang or even regular apple juice. If it’s too sweet it upsets my stomach. However I do like juice so I have found a solution that works for me. If I am in the mood for some juice I mix one part juice to two parts seltzer water. It still gives me that great fruity taste that I crave plus the effervescent sensation of drinking a carbonated drink. I mix seltzer water with pretty much ever juice I drink except apple or orange.
I did not find Bossa Nova too sweet at all. I was able to drink an entire bottle without it upsetting my stomach. I did try some with seltzer water and it was equally as delicious.
The Bossa Nova juices reminded me of wine in a way. It does not taste alcoholic at all. It just has the fruity taste like win. Think non-alcoholic wine. That is what it reminds me of.
Bossa Nova sent me a few samples of their tasty fruit juices. My favorites were Acai with Blueberry, Gogi with Tart Cherry (Yes! It was tart) and Mangosteen and Dragonfruit (VERY different – unlike anything I ever had before).
Bossa Nova beverages are found at retailers across the nation including Hannaford, Shop Rite, Wegmans, Price Chopper and Super Target as well as many health food stores.

I’m giving Bossa Nova two thumbs up as a tasty and healthy drink alternative for grown ups.

I’m not an orange juice drinker… I prefer stuff like cran apple and white grape with peach. I’m always trying new juices out though, so I’ll have to give these a try!
