It’s the holiday season, and many people are in panic mode now because they are scrambling to finish their holiday shopping. I’m finally done (just waiting on something to be delivered). I just need to wrap everything (I hate wrapping).

The inspiration for Bunnies by the Bay came decades ago when a family tragically lost relatives and friends to two boating incidents. To comfort the children, their grandmother would create plush toys and tell the children stories about the bunnies that lived in her garden. As the children grew older, they created their own toys and plenty of creative and imaginative stories about their plush friends.

You can tell that the brand puts a lot of thought into the products that they sell to consumers. After all, their brand was created out of love.
Bunnies by the Bay sent me one of their lovely Big Nibble Bunnies to review.
Yes, I’m an adult and I admit that I love stuffed animals. I have a collection of them. I DO sleep with them from time to time and I love to curl up with one on the couch when I watch television (my husband sits on his recliner, otherwise I’d snuggle with him watching television).
Bunnies by the Bay Big Nibble Bunny is incredibly huggable, and oh so SOFT! The moment I took it out of the box and hugged it, I knew I had my new favorite “cuddle buddy” on the couch when watching television. I’ve even slept with him (her?) a few times. It’s the perfect size for bedtime cuddling (yes, I cuddle with my husband too at night but he’s usually asleep the moment his head hits the pillow).
This bunny is a large size (20″), but that is still a great size for a toddler. It’s something they can tote around with them where ever they go.
The plush is very well made (I always check for tears or abnormalities) and it’s fur is silky soft. I wish they made bedding out of the same material his “fur” is made from. It’s so nice!
Just look at how precious this bunny is.
I happened to receive a pink one, but this bunny is available in several colors (boy colors, gender neutral).
The box is just as delightful as the plus bunny. The box is giftable just as it is. There is no need to wrap this bunny at all.
The box is so well made. You could keep it to house photos or other small items.
The front, back and sides of the box are decorates with adorable images in soft colors.
The outside of the box, inside the carrot patch, is a carrot shaped card that is tucked inside the “ground.” You could write a personalize message on that gift card.
There is even a sweet ribbon on the box.
Inside the box you’ll find the bunny carefully wrapped in tissue paper.
It’s wonderful to see just how much love and care is put into not only the plush toy, but also the packaging.
My photos honestly do not do the plush bunny or the packaging justice. We have really bad lighting in our home (even under the overhead light or lamp photos don’t turn out well). I need to invest in a ring light. That would make my photos look better.
This bunny is so much nicer in person. Too bad you couldn’t feel how soft and plush it is through the computer.
