My family is a ChapStick® family. When I was younger I would use whatever lip balm I could afford (or whatever my mom would buy me). As a teen/young adult I always went for lip gloss instead of lip balm. These days I am totally a lip balm kind of girl.
My husband is the one who turned me into a ChapStick® fan. He’s always used ChapStick®, ever since he was young. You will never, ever find my husband without a tube of Cherry ChapStick® on hand – literally! He totes it around with him where ever he goes. That’s probably why he has such soft, kissable lips. 🙂
Many years ago there were only a few flavors of ChapStick®. Now you can find ChapStick® in different flavors and different varieties.
I love it when ChapStick® comes out with limited edition flavors. I actually keep a eye out for them so I can try them. There are a few I wish were not limited edition, like their Cake Batter flavor. My daughter and I grabbed a few of them while they were still available. We love that flavor!
Another personal favorite of mine is the Candy Cane flavor which was available around the holidays. I stocked up on that flavor too.
I heard there was a Chocolate Truffle flavor but I never came across that one.
There are new flavors available just in time for Spring. These fun flavors are a great way to celebrate the season (plus they would make great additions to an Easter basket!).
The flavors are ChapStick® Pomegranate Gumdrop and ChapStick® Citrus Jelly Bean.
The new flavors will be available starting today (March 1, 2014) for a limited time. You can find them at Walmart, CVS and Walgreens (Walgreens only has the Pomegranate Gumdrop flavor). They have a suggested retail price of $0.99 – $2.18.
I’ve had the opportunity to try out both flavors and let me tell you they are yummy.
The Pomegranate Gumdrop has a very “berry-ish” flavor to it. It smells REALLY good too.
The Citrus Jelly Bean has an orange scent and taste to it. It’s all very tasty and smells delish.
Both flavors are enjoyable. That is why I plan on stocking up on these when I find more of them too. Even my kids like them (my husband is a die hard Cherry flavor fan).
Be on the look out for these fun new flavors and grab them while you can. Remember, they will only be around for a short time. Be sure to pick up extras for Easter basket fillers too.

For the past few years I’ve been giving multipacks of chapstick to my postal carrier as a holiday gift. I figure she’s outside in the cold and probably battles chapped lips.

I am so not a lip balm person beciase then I did myself licking my lips constantly to taste that flavor, and then I get chapped lips, so I apply More, so I lick more amd the cycle continues! The pomegranate gumdrop does sound good though 🙂
