When it comes to chores around your home, which ones do you enjoy doing the least? For me it’s cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. Other people might say cleaning the litter box, mowing the lawn, vacuuming or scrubbing toilets.
I think many people will also agree that doing the laundry is not a task that we look forward to. I know my husband and I don’t.
We do our laundry on Sunday mornings. We live in a condo complex with 9 other families. We have an “unspoken” schedule as to when we do laundry so that we don’t bump into each other. There are plenty of times people are doing their laundry during our usual time and we have to wait around until they are done (we have only two washers and two dryers for the whole building). I wish we had an ultrasonic cleaners to help us out.
I cannot understand is how the laundry basket can get full by Tuesday if we just did laundry Sunday morning? We end up doing a load of laundry or two on Tuesday and Thursday. It seems like every day is laundry day around here.
Did you know that how much and what type of laundry detergent you use in your HE Turbo washer has a lot to do with how long it takes to do your laundry?
Many HE washing machines have 40% larger drums than traditional machines and can wash up to 32 pounds of laundry. WOW!
We’re used to doing traditional sized loads, which are usually around 3-5 pounds.
I believe our washers are HE. You need to pick the right type and amount of detergent for your washing machine. You should always follow dosing instructions and match the amount of detergent with the increased load and soil level to get the clean you expect.
Check out this brief video to learn more about HE washers and the importance of using the right amount of detergent.
Here is another interesting fact that I did not know– too many suds could be causing you to spend more time (up to 25 minutes) doing laundry AND wasting up to 10 gallons of water.
The reason is because many high efficiency detergents on the market can create suds t take longer, and use more water, to fully rinse your laundry.
I would have never given suds a thought. Who knew they were doing this to our laundry?
Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ and YouTube favorite’s What’s Up Moms teamed up for this funny video to bring attention to how suds play a part in our everyday laundry. The video also highlights how Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ delivers a great clean from a high efficiency (HE) washing machine in this funny, light hearted video
Check out the video. It’s really funny.
I love that the video shows a laundry “boot camp.” I especially thought it was funny when the ladies went off to battle the laundry.
With the new Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ detergent, suds don’t carry over which means it is less likely send your HE machine into additional rinse cycles that can add up to 25 minutes to cycle time and use up to 10 extra gallons of water.
Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ is the first-of-its-kind and the formula is the #1 recommended detergent by leading HE washer manufacturers. It is available in Tide® liquid detergent, Tide Pods® pacs and Tide® powder formula.
Here is some additional information about Tide® HE Turbo Clean™.
Clean/Time
Turbo-charged cleaning agents and dirt capturing ingredients disperse quickly, attack stains, and keep them off your clothes with a fraction of the amount of water used in traditional washers.
A single cap of Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ in the quick wash cycle cleans just as well as 6 doses of the leading bargain brand liquid detergent in normal wash cycle.
Suds
Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ detergents save time and water using proprietary, quick-dissolving Smart Suds™ technology that helps prevent HE Machines from running additional rinse cycles.
Dosing
With the load size of an HE Machine up to 4x larger than a traditional top loader, each load can contain 40%+ more dirt, which requires an appropriate amount of detergent to properly clean. Unfortunately, many people under-dosing or over-dosing; the most effective habit is to use the recommended dose of Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ detergent, made simple with the newly designed Tide HE Turbo™ cap/scoop and on-pack instructions.
Here is some additional information you might useful.
Here is another brief video that discusses how too many suds could be slowing your laundry down.
I find this all very interesting and knowing this we are going to switch to Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ the first chance we get to see how it improves doing laundry (Does it make doing laundry faster? Do we use less water?).
Look for Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ wherever detergents are sold.
For more information visit the Tide website. Look for the brand on social media too (all the links are found on the bottom left of their website).
What do you think about Tide® HE Turbo Clean™? Did you know that suds could be slowing your laundry down and using more water?
What did you think about the funny video made by What’s Up Moms? I thought it was really funny, did you?
