Image and value provided by our partner, Peet’s
Yesterday I shared my review of the new Peet’s single cup coffees. If you would like to read that review you can find it here.
Peet’s wants all their fans to try out their new single serve coffee cups (they work perfectly in a Keurig). But they want America to tell them where they should hand out the samples. That is where YOU come in.
Peet’s Give a Cup is the Internet’s first social sampling experiment.
Each week Peet’s will post a new topic on their website, . They want YOU to vote on each one. There is no right or wrong answer (it’s more based on your opinion). The questions are quirky and fun too. Past questions involved zombies (I ♥ zombies! – no real ones of course), hot dog eating contests and deep dish pizzas. This week’s question was about “summering” as a verb.
You might be wondering what is in it for you to vote each week? Your votes help determine where the next stop will be for Peet’s mobile sampling “Sip Truck”. Not only that you’ll get a Peet’s coupon that you can download from the Give a Cup website.
You don’t have to fill out anything or join in order to participate. Simply click on the “button” for your answer choice. It’s that easy!
If you are a fan of Peet’s coffee I’m sure you’ll want their Sip Truck to head in your direction.
Don’t worry. If the Sip Truck doesn’t find it’s way to your “neck of the woods” you can still pick up the Peet’s single serve coffee cups, available in;
Major Dickason’s Blend® — Conceived by one of the first Peetniks and refined by Mr. Peet—and Peet’s all-time best seller—Major Dickason’s combines the best origin coffees from the world’s premier growing regions, each imparting distinctive regional characteristics while still effortlessly rounding into a smooth, balanced cup.
Café Domingo® — The three Latin American coffees in this carefully crafted blend were selected for their balance and brightness, and the roast is fine-tuned to brew the perfect medium-bodied cup.
French Roast — Peet’s French Roast is not a coffee for the cautious, but for those who embrace the powerful taste, pronounced smoky overtones and pleasant bite.
House Blend — First crafted by Alfred Peet, this blend of carefully selected, choice beans from Latin American origins brews a quality cup that’s uniquely rich and approachable, with a pleasant spiciness.
Decaf House Blend — The bright, balanced flavors and medium body make Decaf House Blend so inviting and easy to love, Alfred Peet used to call it a “starter coffee.”
I give a cup about a lot of things including putting an end to hunger, finding homes for adoptable pets and finding a cure for cancer. What do YOU give a cup about?
For more information about Peet’s Coffee & Tea visit www.Peets.com. You can also check them out on Facebook and Twitter. The official hashtag is #GiveaCup.
Don’t forget to visit each week to answer the question and keep an eye out for the Sip Truck in your town.
This giveaway is open to US residents only and will end on July 18, 2013 at 11:59 PM (EST). The winner will be chosen at random using a random number generator from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via e-mail and have three days to reply or a new winner will be chosen in their place.
To enter leave a comment on this post and tell me what YOU “give a cup” about?
For extra entries you can use the Rafflecopter widget (below) but you must complete the initial entry requirement or the extra entries won’t qualify (I do check). Extra entries are optional.

Laura says
I give a cup about the homeless, it’s one problem that gets far too little help. The longer someone spends being homeless the greater the chance they get a criminal record for something as simple as getting some food so they can eat. This makes it even harder for them to get a home and the problem gets worse.
