Do you consider yourself a “techie”? A techie is someone who is really into technology and is up to date on the latest and greatest cutting edge technology.
I would consider myself a techie. I might be “technologically challenged” sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not up to date on the coolest “must have” gadgets and follow current trends.
AARP is hosting a special sweepstakes called “Are You a Real Techie”. It’s a fun way to find out just how much of a techie you truly are.
Each day you can enter by answering questions that test your knowledge in one of five categories. For each question you answer correctly you earn an extra entry in the contest. When you are finished you’ll even receive a score to find out just how tech-savvy you truly are.
If you are unhappy with your overall score, don’t worry. You can try again to better your score and increase your chance of winning daily.
The grand prize is a whopping $10,000 in cash!
The contest is giving away daily “techie” prizes too including a Dell laptop, Kindle, VIZIO LED Smart HDTV, A Canon PowerShot Digital Camera, an iPad and a Google Nexus 7 – just to name a few.
For a complete list of prizes please visit the Are You a Real Techie Prize page.
For the official rules, or to enter please visit the contest page – Are You a Real Techie” Giveaway. The contest ends on December 31, 2013.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be at least 45 years old to enter. Residents of the state of Florida are not eligible.
I can’t imagine a better way to end the year than winning $10,000. :-)!!!!

I don’t understand why so many of AARP’s promotions are void in Florida, where we have so many retired persons!
