I’m sure a lot of people will be excited to hear that the popular film, The Fault in Our Stars, will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on September 16, 2014.
I have not yet seen the film, but I am anxiously awaiting to see it on Blu-ray. I heard nothing but fabulous things about the film, and that it’s a real “tear jerker”.
My daughter read the book last year. It’s written by John Green who has written several other great novels.
If you are unfamiliar with the book or the film, The Fault in Our Stars is the story of two teenagers, Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Augutus (Ansel Elgort) who fall in love after meeting at a cancer support group. The pair instantly hit it off and soon develop a deep friendship.
The duo end up going on a journey to track down Hazel’s favorite author to ask him about the ambiguous ending to her favorite book. Their journey to learn more about the book ends up being an experience of a life time and what started out as friendship turns into love.
Will Hazel and Augustus have a happy ending to their story, or will tragedy strike and change everything?
I don’t want to say anymore and giveaway the story.
Laura Dern and Willem Dafoe also star in the film.
As you have come to expect the film will have a lot of bonus features. Since the film has not yet been released I don’t know specifically what the bonus features are. I do however know about one bonus feature that is introduced by the author, John Green, and the director of the film. Check out this brief clip. Trust me… if you a fan of the movie you’ll want to know about this particular bonus feature. 🙂
Did you see the film? What did you think about it?
Do you plan on picking up a copy of the film when it’s released?
Feel free to share your thoughts.
