Are you familiar with Paul Frank? Perhaps you don’t know the name but maybe you are familiar with his favorite cartoon character Julius (pictured above). There is also a new children’s series called Julius Jr. Have you had the opportunity to check it out yet? It’s adorable!
Paul Frank’s popular Julius character has made it’s way from clothing to home décor and from plush toys to even lip balm.
There is a new line of Paul Frank/Julius apparel created in collaboration with their new partner, Parigi Group. These new line of apparel is available for children from infancy up to kids size 16. Currently the new line of clothing is only sold at Nordstrom but soon will be available at other retail locations including;
- Amazon
- Belk
- Bloomingdale’s
- Bon-Ton
- Buy Buy Baby
- Dillard’s
- Lord & Taylor
- Macys.com
The clothing is super cute. Here are a few examples.
Another retailer that recently joined forces with Paul Frank is Narajian Furniture. Together they created a fun, colorful wooden cube that your children (or you!) can use for a variety of things. These new stackable cubes are available at DreamFurniture.com. They are available in a variety of colors including orange, pink, white and blue.
I was sent one of the cubes to review. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as HUGE as it is – but that is a good thing. 🙂
The wooden, stackable cube features Julius’ face on the “knob”.
The cube has circles cut out of it on all sides, including the base and the door. This allows children to see inside of it without having to open the door.
The cube weighs a lot and can hold a lot. You’ll be surprise at it’s substantial size.
I have to forewarn you – if you have cats they will think it’s a cat home or play area. As soon as I took it out of the box my cats pounced on it and had a blast not only playing with it but also sleeping inside it as well.
The cube went into my kid’s room and became a storage spot for all of their school supplies and school books. At least that was the original intent.
Not too long ago we had to move the bookcase in the room to get to the DirecTV plug that was behind it (the converter box wasn’t working). When we moved the bookcase the entire thing collapsed and there were books EVERYWHERE. Currently the Julius stacking cube is being used to house the books until we can buy a new bookcase. I tipped it on it’s “back” so the door was on top. I filled it with books. Once filled I piled more books on top. As you probably know books are heavy and this wooden cube has dozens of books stacked inside and on top of it and it’s perfectly fine.
These are by far much better than plastic stackable cubes. These are quality made and can withstand most “wear and tear” that children will give them. These cubes can also stay with your child through high school and even college. Adults can find uses for these cubes as well.
Each cube is $39.00 on the Dream Furniture website. That might sound “pricey” but when you think about how long lasting these cubes are they are worth every penny. You and your family will use these for many years to come. Even if you are not a fan of Julius you can still enjoy these cubes (Julius’ face is no the knob – that is the only place he’s seen).
Until December 31, 2013 you can save an additional 30% off your purchase of not only the storage cube but also any Paul Frank product at DreamFurniture.com.

I’m glad you posted on this. I saw this on your FB page and loved the furniture. I really want a monkey shirt! I wear kids sizes (XL 14/16) so must find a nice sale T-shirt. I’ll keep my eye out for one.
